She has lightly colored rings around her eyes, and a few small spots of hair missing throughout her b...

Bailey - Itchy skin! Losing a bit of hair! Food allergie!

Hey guys, Bailey seems to be having some very annoying food allergies. She's losing a little hair on her chest now. So I'm thinking she might be allergic to chicken. Are there any additives that I can add to her food to help her regain some of that hair loss? I'm feeding Kirkland puppy formula, but ...

Re: Kirkland - Watcha guys think? Puppy to adult switch, when?

Yes, but again, Diamond NATURALS (not plain Diamond) is the same thing in a different bag, and you can find it at feed stores and some specialty petstores. Call around :-) And this would be good for an itchy/dandruff type issues? I need to figure something out. I have Bruno on Nutromax chicken, ric...

Re: Kirkland - Watcha guys think? Puppy to adult switch, when?

IS this only sold at Costco? Anyone know? Yup. It is Costco's brand. Well, I went ahead and got a membership last night and bought them the food. They will eat ANYTHING I put in front of them, so that wasn't a concern. I just hope they do well on it and stop all the itching. I'll post up some updat...

Re: Kirkland - Watcha guys think? Puppy to adult switch, when?

I'd probably keep them on Puppy for a few more mos. We've been using Kirkland for the past 4 yrs. or so, the dogs look great and we love it. The exception is a few allergy dogs we have and certain ones that come in with allergies who must be on Natural Balance, duck/potato or sweet potato/venison. ...

Bailey keeps biting/scratching the SAME spot, skin allergie?

Hey guys, Lately, these last few days, I've been noticing Bailey (our black brindle pitbull) scratching/biting at the same 1 or 2 spots on her body. She actually seems to be losing a bit of hair on that area. We just recently switched to Chicken Soup For the Puppy Lovers soul food. Do you think she'...
