Come to think of it, Lilo used to get hiccups when she was younger. I haven't noticed her having them in a long time though...

I heard grapes were bad too. Here's a link to some info. http://www.aspca.org/site/PageServer?pagename=grapes May want to be careful with those. Bananas are about the only thing we've tried so far. I am also interested to hear what else is ok to feed. It seems like seeds in general are not recommend...

Welcome ! If you could post your dog's age and weight, I think we could give you a more precise answer. For adults, I think twice a day is a good schedule. Be sure to feed a high quality food. There are many posts in this section that people have put their 2 cents in about what foods they like, and ...

Yea that fish & sp is definitely worth a try. Personally I kind of like to mix up the food a little bit just to keep things interesting. I figure the same thing all the time must get boring. I normally buy a 20# bag of Wellness Super5Mix Chicken, 6# bag of Wellness Fish & Sweet Potato. I usu...

Yea I don't think IAMS is very good. Another one of those main line companies using by products, fillers, chemicals. I don't know all of the chemicals off hand, but just comparing w/ what is in Canidae, you can see a noticeable difference when it comes to quality ingredients. Solid Gold, Canidae, an...

Redmond, WA - Eastside Dog (in Redmond Town Center across from REI) Cool shop. Small little store, but jam packed with goodies. Innova, Solid Gold, Wellness, Canidae, California Natural, frozen BARF mixes, and more. Denny's Pet World - Kirkland, WA (in Totem Lake Plaza) Very friendly staff. Wellness...

Local Pet Stores

Hey guys, I've been meaning to start a thread for everyone to share their favorite local pet stores. I was thinking mainly for the purpose of identifying stores carrying high quality foods, but if there's something else special about the store, please feel free respond. Just thought there might be s...

You probably know this already, but just wanted to point out a Wellness cup is 4 ounces instead of the normal 8.

I think the feeding recommendations being half of the mainstream stuff is about right since the higher quality foods lack the fillers that the big names use. Cali Naturals looks like a good food. It does appear to be the same company that makes Innova, California Natural, and Healthwise, so I'm not ...

When we were babysitting a finicky pup, I wiped a small amount of peanut butter on the bottom of his bowl, and poured the food on top. I think at first I mixed it together by hand, so that all of the dry kibble had at least a small amount of peanut butter on it. One thing Lilo really likes in banana...
