They don't stop growing & filling out until 2 years old, so she's got a long way to go...

Re: Kibble change (Fromm?)

I hear you on the BB. We fed Bentley one bag a month until recently (it was his puppy food,) and after paying 60$ a bag we were looking for something else... Our local mom and pops store carries Fromm, even greater thing is that every 6 bags you buy you get the next halfoff. Although it will take us...

Re: changing food

I think you may have moved things along too fast, not sure. I have always read that it should be a slow process. Like the first week doing a 25% new food, next week doing a 50%, third week doing 75% change, and then on the fourth week would be the new food only. This is how we changed our dog's food...

Re: OFFICIAL ear cropping/tail docking debate thread

You are getting mixed up on two different people's post. Southern comfort asked about a friend's dog, which she then kept. Get your facts straight. Eclipse is a girl for one, and please go back to find out where her dogs came from and how they were cropped. & you said she's basically the same as...

Re: OFFICIAL ear cropping/tail docking debate thread

You don't even know what you're talking about when it comes to eclipse's dogs... before you jump the gun & start calling her a BYB, maybe you should be quiet and learn about where they came from. :)

Re: Update on Snow

You could do Rally and Obedience things with her as well.

Sorry to hear of her xrays. I'm sure there are several threads on HD if you put it into the search box. I haven't had to deal with it, so I don't have any advice :(

Re: New Puppy Watson. Pit or american bulldog?

That's a good thing that you ignore his whining. That's what we had to do until he was used to it. When I was 11 and had my first dog our biggest mistake was letting her out everytime she whined lol I didn't know any better though, but she ended up being free roam. I would let our dog free roam whil...

Re: New Puppy Watson. Pit or american bulldog?

Looks like a pitbull to me... unless he's papered, you'll never know... & he's not used to the crate... So, get used to the crying until he gets used to the crate. When our dog was crate training I had his crate right next to our bed. He did whine some, but I think he felt better knowing we were...

Re: so this morning...

That's NOT okay... so, this volunteer just gave the dog to him? I would have said, sorry... I'm walking this animal for the BARCS animal shelter, if it's yours come to the shelter to get the dog. If anything they could have easily walked back to the shelter with the volunteer/animal together to figu...

Blue Buffalo large breed puppy, but we need to switch off the puppy formula since he's almost 11months.
