I feed one dog only canned food as he has no teeth. He does fine on it. You just have a lot of cans. He gets Innova for Seniors wet food.

So you agree. Judge is not worthy of being bred until he proves that he is. This is all anybody has ever said. How is it bashing?

You are being pretty sensitive. You don't know if he's breedworthy. You said it yourself. He has to pass health tests AND get titled. Those are not small things. Currently, your dog is not worthy of being bred. Maybe someday, but not now. That's not bashing, it's truth and you have to admit it.

I'd neuter the Chihuahua too. Anal Adenomas are very common as un-neutered Chihuahuas get older. If he gets one, you'll have to have it surgically removed and then have him neutered anyway otherwise it will come back. It is a large lump that will grow near his rectum. As it gets bigger it will ulcer...

Has a dog ever been stricken with Salmonella from eating raw chicken? Not that I've ever heard of and I've got subscriptions to 3 different raw lists. Keeping food safe doesn't really depend on who is eating it. It's about 1) knowing your sources and 2) good food handling procedures. This is true w...

Yes she gets out. In the morning and for an hour at night. There is a sticky on here on how to introduce a new dog into the house. Shut down period. that's what I am going by. That's your problem right there. I don't think that sticky says anything about crating a dog 22 hours a day. That's abusive...

Colors like Brindle, Red and White are just colors, they have nothing to do with breed. :) You can't really tell if she's mixed with anything by looking at her coloring.

I would make her world extremely unpleasant when she pees in the house. If the CTJ worked, do it every time.

I've read through a majority of the pages but I just keep getting more confused! So my question is would it be ok to feed kibble and give an occational meaty bone? Also someone told me chicken wings are bad for dogs because the bones are hollow. Right now I feed taste of the wild prarie with the oc...

I think a lot of people with unstable dogs know it and are aware their dog wouldn't pass the test. Why take a dog to a test you know it's going to flunk?
