Our dog also has some major allergies. The vet put him on steroids which clears up the rash and helps with the itching. Our vet recommended Blue Buffalo, about $45 for 30 lbs. The second option was California Natural, a little pricier but nothing outrageous. Both avoid fillers and wheat, which we ar...

So about 4 months apart for the pics. http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q315...
Hes been checked for Heartworm and everything else. He did have round worms when we got him but those got flushed out after a month. His stool is good, solid nothing monstorous, haha. I agree with the food, the vet had recommended blue and california natural due to his allergies. He does get quite a...
The vet said we should do 4-5 cups a day until he got his weight up and then back it down to the recommended amount. I guess we could always give him so more. Is it too much stress on their stomachs to give 3 cups at a time? She was add a third feeding?
Hi Everyone, Just hoping to get some thoughts/tips about my pup. We got him from the shelter on Dec. 11, he was just about a year old and weighed roughly 50 lbs. He was pretty thin, you could see the entire rib cage and spine but also very muscular in front/back legs and the chest. He's been to the ...

When my pit met my 10 month old niece, he walked right up and licked her entire face. Other than that he ignored her. Of course he acts like an 80 year old. I have no real tips, just don't cover the kids in peanut butter.
We had a similar situation with Charlie. He went from a dark brown when we got him to a blonde color now. He is part ridge back so he's still got very dark hair across the spine, reddish blonde flanks and very blonde pits. Why? I have no clue. But everyone loves his paint job.

Hi Everyone, I was looking around for a green Phillies collar for Charlie. His current neckwear is quite boring. I've had no luck. Can anyone recommend a place for custom collars? I am hoping for a 1.5-2 inch thick collar, with the Phillies logo embroidered. Thanks in advance. For fun, here is Charl...

His story reminds me of my new guy. Same situation with the ears, half starved, etc. He was a humper but that went away with the nuts. He is now just about the most well behaved dog I could ask for. Lat night he curled up on my lap and watched the Flyers game with me. Someone could have that with th...
Hello Everyone, We adopted Charlie on December 11, 2009. He had been at the shelter for 3 months, even spent his first birthday there. The poor guy was all skin and bones and needed some TLC. I thought rescuing a pit would be a lot of work, I was wrong. He is a big lap dog, who loves kids, dogs, etc...
