Re: Taking dog out for ice cream?

My dogs favorite treat is ice cream. My better half works at an ice cream parlor so our walk use to consist of a spoon full of ice cream in the morning. (then I moved far away from his work and the dogs are bummed on morning walks now)

Re: My first collar creation

Wow that is beautiful! Congrats! I tried at it recently (with out any help), and messed up the sizing on it for Chance  . I wish there was a class like the one Paco Collars has to teach how to do it properly. Maybe then I would actually finish one that fits Chance properly! Can't wait to see w...

Re: first attempt at collar making

Thank you! I think I'm gonna keep at it, it was really fun. I don't have to many other projects right now so I'm wicked excited about learning something new. Also a possible way to make a little extra money on the side in the future might be nice too! I'm vegan so recycled leather was more my speed,...

I actually did the pattern myself. It was just a plain brown leather belt. I hammered it in with some stamps I found

Re: first attempt at collar making

I don't know much about it either, I'm just playing around with it right now. But it is fun. Yeah I work at Polka Dog Bakery in Boston MA. I brought it in to show to a co-worker and then decided to show it off a little more.

first attempt at collar making

So I I tried my hand at collar making mainly for fun, my dad worked with leather (mainly biker vests, wallets, belts etc) when I was younger, but I missed my boat on learning. So I found a belt and decided to play around with it.. It isn't done yet but I think you get the idea. What do you think? It...

Re: bones..

Chicken feet are awesome to feed, I wanted to add, that feeding a goat head, cow head, deer head, lol, is also a great chew toy, and it does last. The nice thing is, you can just pop back in the freezer, and save it for another day. A good jaw work out, and a good brain work out, kill two birds wit...

Re: bones..

Raw meaty bones here as well. I generally only feed edible bones though, not giant, weight bearing bones (worried about fractured teeth). Pork neck and beef neck bones are good :) I recently started in with raw bones. Obi (mini dach) loves chicken feet, while Chance just carries it around then leav...

Re: Learn to Make a Leather Leash Workshop

Super jealous!! That leash looks beautiful! I would seriously pay to have a "how to" video and tools and equipment sent to my bum on the east coast. My dad use to make wallets and vests from leather, sadly I missed the boat on learning from him. I'd be so into learning this craft. Mainly t...

Re: Procter & Gamble purchases Natura (EVO)

saw this on Dogster/Catster. Hershey has been doing well on EVO canned so, until they change the ingredients, going to stick with it. and hope for the best. Something to keep in mind is where they source from. The ingredients and formula might stay the same but the quality of the ingredients may de...
