Re: Lazy azz dog! Suggestions

UGh. I wish! My two lay down briefly, when they're commanded to. The entire time their eyes are bugging out of their heads, their feet are twitching and their bodies vibrating....please mom lady, say "Okay!". Mina prances when she sits, can't keep her feet still. They took a brief 20 secon...

Re: Collar Mania leather collars on sale this week 20% off

Yup that's what I thought. If I'm lucky they will show up at the end of the month, but probably more likely the very beginning of next month!

Re: Collar Mania leather collars on sale this week 20% off

Stocky is right! My mina at 42lbs only has a 14 inch neck lol . She's a lanky little thing, though.

I MUST resist buying more collars, atleast until my most recent collarmania is in, which probably won't be until next month (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, Lisa!).

Re: oh lord...embarrassing injestion....

My plumbing can't handle tampons. Learned that the hard way. I was always told growing up that they really shouldn't be flushed anyways.

Re: Show you their toys??

The pups are too busy playing tug with everything to care if we see what we have. Dante is pretty much bomb proof with his "Drop" and "give" he picks up a million things he shouldn't have, brings them to us, and waits for our hand to go under his mouth, then he'll 'give' without ...

Re: Innova Evo vs. Orijen???

Anecdotally, both from personal experience and from what seems like daily cases at work, Orijen sucks. I used to be a hard-core proponent and would recommend it to anyone and everyone. Until TWO of my dogs (and quite a few dogs at work) began to show serious abnormalities in their bloodwork (ie. el...

Re: Innova Evo vs. Orijen???

Lots of the times 'the best' ends up being really individualized. My beagle is on Orijen. It works well for her. The orijen puppy food didn't do one good thing for the pups, so they're on Acana. Ideally once they're off puppy food (soon) they will be able to tolerate the same foods, but I'm not sure...

Re: Puffy Eye

Coda's doing well. Sore and tired, but her swelling is mostly down. She was pretty dopey when we got her home and threw up on the floor. She's eating fine though. Of course in typical APBT punk fashion, Mina walked up to her and smacked her on the face, right on her swelling, with a big gigantic paw...

Re: Broken tooth, What to do?

Yup. Take her in. When one of my pups broke a baby tooth we had it looked at at one of their many appointments, and the vet said "We'll just keep an eye on it since it will fall out soon. If it were an adult tooth, it would need to be removed"

Re: Dyson Groom Tool

If it cleans teeth, I'm in. My two just want to eat the end of the hose and it's attachments, they won't let me vacuum them with it, though,

Re: oh lord...embarrassing injestion....

Coda once at a...used form of birth control. BF and I both vowed to pull the "I dunno, she must've picked something up off the ground" route if she became obstructed lol Discussed this with a friendly vet tech once and she laughed and said it happens often, she said the worst though is whe...

Re: Puffy Eye

I know, not bad at all. I'd done some reading after you mentioned an abscess as a possibility and came across some posts on various forums and just about fainted at the price some people were paying for having one tooth removed. Some were upwards of $900 and twice that for a root canal. When the BF ...

Re: Puffy Eye

Allison for the win! She's in as we speak getting her tooth extracted and we pick her up tomorrow morning. The vet said her tooth it's self looked good and it's likely something got wedged up under her gums and has caused an infection. He did offer antibiotics, but said it would be likely we'd have ...

Re: Puffy Eye

Her swelling went completely away and then WAY up, she looks like she's got half a golfball under her eye now. She's going to the vet tomorrow at 11:40. She's grouchy and sore, but other than that seems to be her usual self.
