Re: shedding...

I bet their adult coats are coming in! My pups started shedding a few weeks ago, and now my poor white and cream couches are covered in little black puppy hairs. They also had mange when we brought them home at 12 weeks, but they've been clear for a few months. Dante's coat has gone really, really s...

I'm pretty sure I'd let a face that cute do whatever they wanted! :inlove:

Re: These damn puppies are going to be the death of me.

Must be a beagle thing! The things Coda ate and passed still amaze me. The one and only time she needed a little help was when she inhaled way too many grass clippings. She's like a cat, she's got to have 9 lives, the things she ate would've easily put most dogs in hospital!

Mine play tug-o-war with my bras. They haven't wrecked on yet, but it's definitely not a game I am willing to let them play lol

Re: Switched food a month ago - still having diarrhea

I'd give the pupmkin for no longer than a week - you'll want to make sure he's tolerating the food OK and the pumpkin isn't just masking the problem by making his bowel movements look as good as they do. If it does appear to work, I'd steer clear of chicken. We figure my beagle has a chicken sensiti...

Re: Pigs Ears.

Maybe that's what I've heard? Chipped something, bone or tooth, either way, not good lol

It's the natural pig's ears that make my guys sick, we don't buy treats from anywhere but out natural pet food store. Definitely not a reason to not try them on your pup, just something to be aware of!

Re: Pigs Ears.

I've heard the smoked beef bones can chip teeth. We've never had it happen, but we started giving raw bones instead, just to be safe. I personally haven't heard anything bad about pigs ears, but I've never had a dog keep them down. All three of mine will upchuck not long after chewing on one. They d...

Re: These damn puppies are going to be the death of me.

Oh I am right there with you with my two pups! Actually Mina is really good, she doesn't seem interested in chewing up much other than the bed or blankets, which even still I don't like - but SHE spits things out! The only things she eats which bother me are poop and sticks, both of which come back....

Re: Switched food a month ago - still having diarrhea

How bad are his poops right now? Because Mina's poops were semi-OK and not really bad, the vet suggested we just do an immediate switch - we had a few days of runny poops and then they firmed right up. But, had her poops been runnier or softer we probably would've done a gradual switch to avoid full...

Re: Switched food a month ago - still having diarrhea

Have you had a fecal run on him lately just to be safe? My pups have food issues too and are sensitive to the change more so than any other dog I've owned, and we went through a few foods the first few months - I thought we'd never find a food that worked. It started to get worse so I took them in a...

Re: Eating to fast

Does she heave or is it more a reverse sneeze? My beagle will reverse sneeze if she eats too quickly. She eats just like your brie. Actually, all three of my pups eat like they haven't eaten in weeks and may never eat again. I haven't found anything all that effective in slowing them down. Another t...

Re: Tripod Boxer!!

How 'best suited to be an only dog' is this guy? Absolute must or??

May have a bite for you already, but he'd need to be in another home with dogs. 2 boxers, one who is a tripod due to osteosarcoma.

Would you mind if I posted his info on Tripawds.com?

They have a rescue and adoption section for people looking specifically for another tripod!

Re: Nobody is helping. (Pika? Or What?)

My last dog, which was a cockapoo - ate alll sorts of horrible things. An entire tube of Desenex. 600 balloons. Pounds upon pounds of chocolate (nothing was safe - not even the top of the fridge, we had to install kiddie locks on all cabinets, and I lived with stoners at the time that never put the...
