Just for an example, here's a picture of Dakota from a few months ago.

I'll upload one from today, I have room for 4 more pictures on my memorycard.

Re: Not Keeping Weight Off As Easily?

His ribs were easier to feel this morning, so I think the cutting back has helped. We feed High Prairie which has more fat and protein, that could've been a cause.

Re: Busy weekend for the girls

Awesome work! :headbang: I have to make a "fortress" too for Dakota. He's generally good about it, but some people think their dog needs to meet every dog they see.

Re: Muzzle 101?

I may just snag a Baskerville. I wonder if it would fair well in lure coursing, I'd like something more durable then our plastic basket muzzle.

That's what I thought, but a lot of people kept bringing it up. I didn't believe them really but I'm not one for completely putting a possibility aside without proof.

Re: Not Keeping Weight Off As Easily?

Thank you for the input guys, Next time we have training classes I'll use just the Pet botanics and lower his food a lot. And bike a little more than usual after training. I'll slowly lower the amout of food he gets each day, maybe he won't notice the change as much. lol I'll take some weekly pictur...

Re: Not Keeping Weight Off As Easily?

I usually use hotdogs if I decide to train with treats. But I usually just use his toy as his reward. He's 2 years old (Estimated birthday 6-8-09) . I also use Pet Botanics treat rolls. Just recently we took rally and CGC prep classes, which I've been using a lot of hotdogs for. Around 6, Dakota is ...

Not Keeping Weight Off As Easily?

This year Dakota has been hard to keep his weight down. He's not really at what I'd call a bad weight but I like to keep my dogs very lean. We've been more active than usual this year in the sense that we've been biking everyday of the week. But he still isn't at lean as last year, could he have mat...

Re: Injuries sustained from weight pulling?

Someone else could help you more with the injuries. I'd imagine pulling notable weight with a young pup could harm them. But here there was a club that used to meet at the local Humane Society, and because some people started pulling up videos and pictures of the sport being abused they made it look...
