Bruiser

He is not a pit bull, I have met him in person. He is a mix of some kind with a docked tail. He has more of a rottie shape than a boxer shape but he has a boxery looking head. He is a good boy. He is definately a mixed breed, there could be *some* pit bull in there somewhere but that is not what I p...

Not a pit bull but a boxer mix of some kind

Bruiser has a docked tail and is a golden bully breed mix of some kind or maybe Rottie/redbone. He is an adult dog who has an owner who just can't seem to stay out of jail and this time is going away for a long time so Bruiser is back at the shelter (he is a frequent flyer):frown: and this time is n...

Hooter

i dunno....check out hooter.....i wouldn't have guessed she'd had pups... http://www.pitbullforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=35399&highlight=hooter I would have, if you look close, her nipples look a little "pulled out". My girl was bred before I got her and you wouldn't know now (however it...

Cooke would not work

Cookie is a very intense female with a lot of drive and is very athletic. She probably should go to a single dog home or a home that will work the crap out of her. She is large, in charge, very inappropriate with other dogs and can easily clear a 5 foot fence. She is smart and beautiful. http://www....

Micro Bull - ANYONE?

This is a shameless plug for a home for a sweet microbull. She was spayed this morning at the Vet School in Raleigh NC and her pre-surgery weight is 24 (yes, not a typo) pounds. She is a just a handful and is probably 6-12 months old, as she has all of her adult teeth but does not appear very old. W...

Transport

She is good with everything and rides very well. However, large dogs should not be allowed to rush her - it is a little traumatizing and she gets scared and will growl. Other than that, she is perfect and great with everyone. Her final destination will be CT but I would prefer her to go to the rescu...

Where are the AB people? needed in NC

I used to get lots of interest when I would post an AB but lately there has been nothing. There is a fantastic AB at the Johnston County Animal Shelter that has been there for months and he is starting to go south. He is starting to get thin and his coat is shedding out. I have no place to put him a...

Starr in NC needs transportation to CT

I think little Starr is going to be moving to her new home in CT thanks to Merry with Braveheart Pit Bull Rescue in MA for posting her in the NE and screening her new home. http://www.pbrc.net/dogpages/south/secondchancep1164.html The problem now is getting her there. She can't fly because it is too...

last plea for Katie

Katie's time is up, her owner can't keep her anymore. He is traveling for his job and she is the ex'wife's dog. When she left him, she took the older mixed breed and left the young energetic pit bull. He is allergic to dogs, travels all the time and didn't want a second dog in the first place. He em...

Active home in NC for sf apbt

I am trying to help locate Katie an active home. She is currently located in Greenville NC. She was adopted from our local shelter last march when she was about 10 weeks old by a couple looking for a companion for their older mixed breed dog and wanted to adopt a pit bull. (Katie and her litter were...

Jada looking for active home, located in NC

Jada is a young high energy female APBT confiscated on a cruelty investigation. She was being kept on a heavy logging chain in a pen and jumped out and hung herself over the side and impaled her leg in the top of the fencing. The leg impalement kept her from strangling and the chain on her neck kept...

Looking for a Performance Home for Maverick in North Carolin

http://www.pbrc.net/pictures9/maverick1164_2.jpg Maverick is a high energy adult pit bull who has had a rough life and needs a pit bull savvy home who wants a performance dog. He loves activity and is very task oriented. Would make an awesome companion for an active male who wants a skateboarding d...

Looking for a rescue for Maverick

Maverick is a high drive/high energy rescued fighting dog from Eastern NC that is in a local Humane Society. He has not kenneled well and demolished his run and has been banished to the back of the shelter in a 10*10 dog pen. He needs a working dog home or a home that will run him or work him daily....
