Re: Vaccination protocol

Ours are all (DHPPC & Bordetella) annual except for Rabies, after the first year Rabies is every three. I do have to booster Blu again on Friday for the DHPPC since there was no record of prior vaccinations for him when we adopted him.

Re: Toy destruction

There are only 2 things that last in our house...original Kongs, they love them when they're full, and the squeeky ball from inside a Wubba. Thor cradles those like they're his babies roflmao we have to take them away from the girls though, they destroy everything!

Re: LEGO: From prepared to paranoid...

I have 2 APBT's and 1 rescue "Pit Bull type dog". My male, Thor, is a complete ass when it comes to large dogs that aren't his girls...he loves cats and little dogs though. I have no doubt that he would fight if I gave him the chance. Then there's Chloé, my ROCKSTAR, who is 3.5 years and h...

Re: NEED HELP FAST! PLEASE!

YES, but it will take time. There isn't an immediate fix for this other than separation or keeping her on a leash. These are the kinds of things that take months to change and you have about a week, that's why separating is your best bet. Lots of walks/runs (not just playing in the yard), work to ea...

Re: Color Dilution Alopecia

This sounds EXACTLY like what I go through with my Chloé! She's basically bald, except for peach fuzz, on her whole underneath and behind her ears. She has very thin and shorter hair on the backs of her thighs and on her face around her eyes and mouth. Her "normal" hair is also shorter and...

Re: Questions

You need to get him to the vet ASAP! That is totally not normal and there is no way to tell what is going on over the internet. Pawn shop, auto title loan, whatever...get him to the vet!

Once again, I'm with Jamie...your dogs are NOT the problem. There are so many steps you missed that could have prevented this whole thing.

Chloé wasn't swollen either, the only symptom was a bumpy head. I'm interested in hearing what your vet says...

Sorry, do you see bumps on her at all? Better to be safe than sorry, I wasn't too worried until we got to the vet...

Re: enlarged lymph nodes 6 week old puppy

Could be Puppy strangles!!! Get her to the vet ASAP!! Chloe had it when we got her, also way too young. It's an immune problem where the lymph nodes can swell to the point that they literally strangle the puppy. Steroids and antibiotics, but we just did antibiotics and she responded well, my vet did...

We have "winged" fence slats on the one side of our house that faces a relatively busy (for a small town) street. My dogs don't even bother trying to see thru...

Re: pit bull chasing cat

You can clip the cat's claws. It might just be in my head, but one of the 4 shop cats at my job has his claws and attacks one of the others. I call clipping his nails an attitude adjustment :)
