Ginger has the same fur, its so long. I have trimmed it before, but I dont like to cause I feel like I cant see where I am trimming. Give Katee a hug from me.

I started my 70-80lb out of shape dog (not fat, just didnt excersise much) out on my treadmill (converted for dog use) on no incline, set at 1.4-1.7 mph for 5 minutes twice a day for a few days. I am in the Savannah Georgia area. Punkin gets loads and loads of exercise, but little leash time. I live in an area where there are lots of loose (sometimes aggressive) dogs. Some dogs wont tolerate other dogs, no matter what the age. Tank may be one of those dogs. I would be very watchful of their interactions and not let Tank hurt the puppy.

I am sure someone else will be able to offer you more advice here shortly.
