Re: excessive puller

I have tried head harnesses with other dogs and havent ever really liked them. The last two dogs we have had we have used body harnesses and I love mine. Missy the dog we had before Caramel would pull like crazy until we got the harness, and I have always had it for Caramel. She still pulls a lil bi...

Re: Reason for dogs eating other animals poo?

A few dogs do eat poop because of nutritional deficiencies or severe stress. But that's relatively rare, according to veterinary website. Most dogs eat poop because it tastes good to them, or because it's just become a habit. Many animals other than dogs eat poop too --wolves eat herbivore poop to ...

Re: Cant get mouth to stop bleeding

It was the 4th or july so we couldnt take her to the vet, we did the best we could.....that was hard enough I couldnt imagine having to find s...

Re: Paw's

I have used a clicker for other dogs i have owned but not with her. She picked up so much so fast we decided not to use a clicker, although i may change my mind eventually.

I am just happy someone else has the same issue and it isnt only her!

Paw's

Does anyone have or had a dog who doenst like their front paw's handled? Caramel hates to have her paw's messed with after a second or two. If you pick them up while she is laying there she will give you a warning nip (never getting even close to biting us). I am going to try to associate it with a ...

Re: Is possessiveness inspiring agression?

Even though its cold another good outside adventure (at least for my pup) is going to a baseball field. Usually they are completely fenced and in a lot of cases with tall fencing. I take my pup and let her run on a nice long leash to take the edge off, it's something different than the normal walk.
