New rescued brat with severe skin issues

I've again returned from yet another hiatus, and was hoping I could pick the brains for some advice/wisdom with respect to my new acquisition. I pulled Haplo off the euth list, and picked him up the afternoon of his intended last day on earth. He had severe pneumonia and some sort of severe skin inf...

She'll always be remembered, by countless, not just those lucky enough to have met her!

Re: Heat stroke...

Thank you for finding the strength to share such a devastating lesson. Definitely something all of us who are responsible for a life, human or animal, can never allow to forget, or become complacent on.

I'm sorry for your loss, and hope she didn't suffer.
RIP Sheila.

:(

What did the vets say, when you called them?

I'm not sure if poisoning could have done that...maybe?

Any way he could have gotten into something? Anti-freeze?

Has he seen the vet? Or been dewormed?

How long does he get the runny stool for, on those foods?

Re: Skinny Dog

From what I can see on those pics (side, top view are best for analysis)...he looks good. But I'd also like to echo what others suggested: deworm, if he hasn't been already. What were the 'expensive' foods you tried? How long was he on them for? Did you try adding yogurt before (helps stomach), and ...

Re: Update on Jasper - one year later

Ok, so the tincture is called "Anti-tumoral" by "Prescribed Animal Wellness Solutions" It's the 60ml bottle Company website Ingredients read at this (I kid you not): love, intention, maca root extract, cats claw, pau d'arco, wormwood tinctures in glycerin/alcohol base. It says: F...

Re: Does ayone else's dog suffer from allergies??

Yup yup, my Jasper's allergic to chicken, beef (how that makes sense, I'm not sure), and he has seasonal allergies (not sure what though, but, in Spring, he's a mess). At one time, I found tripe and cod liver oil to work wonders, but this past spring I had to put him on steroids to get him to stop i...

Update on Jasper - one year later

As per normal, I sort of disappeared off PBF for a while there ... I missed the exact one year anniversary to Jasper's diagnosis of lymphoma, but just as I had wanted to come on to update on him, other stuff happened. So, to update to any who're interested: Original story Jasper's been in remission ...

Re: It's Lymphoma Large Cell Type.

Don't stop typing .... and as much as it hurts, don't stop feeling...don't bottle it up... I know all too well the feeling of losing before we're ready... when it's too quick, and it makes no sense. The pain will subside, in time. The self-doubt will ease, in time. And you know you put Ella before y...

I heard on FB, and my heart broke.

I came on here, and it broke again.

*hugs* to you.
Ella was loved, and not just by her immediate family.
