all of mine have come from the local spca, wandering down the street, or my chinese crested who came from a puppy mill (so i consider him a rescue, too!!) Lucy sat at the spca for over two months, owner surrendered because of too much responsibilty.....she was huge and i was actually a lil' intimida...

awwwww i know how scary that is.my lil' chinese crested used to have seizures alot and the first time i also rushed him to er vet for blood work and all that.........he was on phenobarbital for years and i stopped giving it to him because of the liver damage that can happen over time......he hasn't ...

i paid 23.99 for 13 patties, which would only last about 6 days at 2 patties per day.....so i am feeding raw in the morning and kibble at night to keep the cost down........they love it!!

yeah monkey and lucy go through them in about 5-10 minutes and at around 3-4 bucks each that is too fast......a local health pet store sells frozen raw ox bones.........i am going to try those.

i noticed the other day that lucy's canin was split right down the side and her gum was laready starting to recede...............today dr said it has to be removed and the hole will have to be covered up because it leads to her sinuses..............anyone ever experience this? by the way....she was ...

i am having such mixed feelings about all of this...........i did some searching on here and found threads about people who work for vets talking about all the problems bones have caused i.e. surgery.....now i am scared!!

i fed monkey and lucy raw for the first time today.chicken necks and backs..monkey took to it no problem...lucy was a lil' hesitant but she finally ate too........but now monkey has really runny poo.is this normal?

i had my lil dogs anal glands removed years ago because they kept getting clogged.i suppose you could ask your vet about that.
