it is best to grind as you use them and keep them refrigerated....the soaking in water might be to reduce gas...i know people do that with beans..not suer if it is true though?

i have looked into trying it, but they do not sell it where i live (only in southern ca) i contacted the co and they are supposed to get back to me..........i really wanna try raw, but haven't yet....still sort of researching how and how much it wil coat in time and money.

i know there is alot of info on raw diet already, but i would like someone who feeds raw to write out a recipe of sorts.........you know like a meal plan really.......any one willing? or if there is one already posted somewhere cold you direct me to it?

his BUN is 36...the vet tech said that was not too bad..his thyroid was really low...........and his albumin was a lil low...........just below normal...i am now feeding him wet food because it has less protein in it.......it is DVP natures balance...................i just don't want him to suffer.

kidney disease

has anyone ever experienced kidney disease with their dog.....i have a small dog who has been diagnosed with kidney problems (elevated BUN).....he has lost a lot of weight, still eats good though, but cannot gain weight.....i am concerned if he is in pain or not.....i do not wish to prolong any suff...

hmmm, i never feed anything raw, but today i gave monkey and lucy some raw chicken liver and giblets and they would not eat it.is it an acquired taste?

actually ringworm can look swollen like that esp places where this is hair (or fur)......google "ringworm" images and you can see....i was surprised myself.....fungi take a long time to heal......be patient..i know it sucks!
