i am having such mixed feelings about all of this...........i did some searching on here and found threads about people who work for vets talking about all the problems bones have caused i.e. surgery.....now i am scared!!

runs and raw

i fed monkey and lucy raw for the first time today.chicken necks and backs..monkey took to it no problem...lucy was a lil' hesitant but she finally ate too........but now monkey has really runny poo.is this normal?

i had my lil dogs anal glands removed years ago because they kept getting clogged.i suppose you could ask your vet about that.

good to know.....i have always wondered. i crate my younger pit (have since he was 4 months old) but i have never crated lucy...they are in seperate outdoor kennels right next to eachother during the day...but i think i am going to try and get her used to being crated so maybe i could go out on a co...

how does any one reallly know their dogs sleep all day while crated? i am not being facetious i am really curious.........it seems 8 hrs is so long to me, which is how long mine would have ot be crated....i have an outdoor kennel they stay in during the day.

it is best to grind as you use them and keep them refrigerated....the soaking in water might be to reduce gas...i know people do that with beans..not suer if it is true though?

i have looked into trying it, but they do not sell it where i live (only in southern ca) i contacted the co and they are supposed to get back to me..........i really wanna try raw, but haven't yet....still sort of researching how and how much it wil coat in time and money.

i know there is alot of info on raw diet already, but i would like someone who feeds raw to write out a recipe of sorts.........you know like a meal plan really.......any one willing? or if there is one already posted somewhere cold you direct me to it?

i just have to say i think exercising is such a huge factor that some of us tend to slack on (me included). a tired dog is a good dog!!
