Update!!! His rescuees decided to keep him,they absolutely feel in love with him. I invited them to join the forum since this is their first pit bull.

Any rescues in your area that would be able to help out? The ONLY one in Alabama for bully breeds is Turtle Moon and they have been booked up for a while. wow, I've never heard of yeast in the ears, that's interesting.... Chronic yeast infections are the cause of food allergies. And of course dogs with food allergies has yeast infections in their ears (head shaking), anal area (butt scooting, chewing) and just all over (obsessive licking and chewing)...

I've had dogs like that. I've heard it can cause bloat, I'd raise the pan to chest level if possible and put a big rock in it so he has to eat around it.
