Re: West Paw & Tuff Balls

V V we give our dogs antlerz, have you tried those yet? We buy them from Best Bully Sticks, but you can get them other places. There is a risk as it is a bone, your dog could chip a tooth or something else but for us in generally they work really well. So far we've been lucky with no chipped teeth-...

Re: West Paw & Tuff Balls

Sarah-cute pic. I think the hurley was next on my list with the zisc. If that's the bone like one and not the ball like one. The tuff ball is pretty darn big which I think is why she hasn't destroyed it yet but she also hasn't concentrated on it too much. Jamie-yeah none of these west paw's bend whe...

Re: Sweet Steel Magnolia - still looking

I wish someone would adopt her...period. I just don't know how to go about transporting her across the US and even if it were in her best interest. What if....god forbid something went wrong and I needed to get her back. It would be nearly impossible. As much as it sounds like she would fit right i...

Re: West Paw & Tuff Balls

I hear the S shaped ones work wonderfully but I haven't bothered with them. We LOVE jolly balls and boomer balls and egges here. They can be destroyed by not easily. Luckily my dogs don't destroy the black XXL and XL kongs and I've had great luck with chuck-it and bad cuz toys with my malinois. The...

Re: West Paw & Tuff Balls

if she has ball drive, you might want to look into getting a Boomer Ball or the Egge, my guys haven't destroyed them yet, and it's been a couple of years. Also, tennis balls, do wear done the teeth, so getting her to play with a rubber ball, might be better. You know, I dont know what kind of drive...

Re: West Paw & Tuff Balls

The Tuff Balls, are a waste of money. I used them once, literally once, and they were destroyed within thirty minutes. A friend of mine sent me some really nice Titanium Balls they use in fly ball. And they have held up well. I prefer Kong products, however Bio can destroy a Kong in under five minu...

West Paw & Tuff Balls

These toys are supposed to be very chew resistant, they even offer a refund or replacement if the one you bought breaks. She has two. The Bumi and the Tux. The Tux is VERY strong and has a place for peanut butter or treat in the middle, but it's durability is why Meems isnt that interested in it, sh...

Re: Sweet Steel Magnolia - still looking

She eats Natural Balance LTD Venison and Sweet Potato Dry and I mix in the same in canned occasionally. She gets no other treats but her kibble or Natural Balance LTD treats. It's really not that much but it is 50.00 for a 25lb bag. It's not like you would be spending money on treats and chews sinc...

Re: Building Muscle

Flirt poles, spring poles, biking, swimming, fetch, building an A-frame and having her go up and down (recent video in the training section I believe). All of those will help her tone up and start to show some muscle definition. You have kids? Train her to the bike, and then have them take her for ...

..NM, got it to work.

I keep seeing Comfort Zone as a popular product. Might need to look into that here at PetSmart.

Re: Green Dog Naturals & Anxiety Help?

You should first read the sticky in Behavior & Training on Separation Anxiety. Then work with a qualified trainer to help you work on this. Rescue Remedy has never done anything for any of my dogs. I prefer Composure (Vetri-Science) and Melitonin. Hmm, we have melatonin..maybe I'll ask the vet ...

Green Dog Naturals & Anxiety Help?

Has anyone used Green Dog Naturals products? Your review? Next would be calming aids, any good ones? I looked at Green Dog Naturals and Bach Rescue Remedy for Pets which got mixed reviews but 4 stars our of 29 reviews. Anything else you guys have used? (Separation Anxiety, only need sparingly but it...
