Sadie's voice has changed

This is a weird one and I don't know what to make of it. Here is a video from a month ago. These videos are on facebook so hopefully you guys can see them. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10150824292738195 And here is a video I took today. I've noticed she seemed a little warble-y with some mil...

Re: Allergens in the fall?

A little update on Vi's allergies. Last fall she was put on a low dose of steroids which seemed to tame the allergy beast and gain some control over it. Once the script was through our regular vet had us give her benadryl 2x a day all the way till fall to see if having that constant low dose in her ...

You chose a lovely picture of miss Sadie for the article.

I think you did a very nice job.

Re: For the love of God Newton!

If they have to be home, the next thing I'd recommend is writing numbers on them and then locking them away when you are not training. The numbers is to make sure you have accounted for all of them.

Re: Pancreatitis

Oh that made me smile seeing his appetite up eagerly eating every last grain of rice he could put in his mouth. I am so glad he is home and it sounds like he is doing at least a little better. I'm glad he doesn't *have* to be in that horrid hospital anymore. Have you found another place to take him ...

Re: For the love of God Newton!

First of all, holy cute dog, batman! A friend of mine has a boston terrier who is a little crazy, kinda like your cutie, and they joke about installing a zipper in her abdomen to just go in and retrieve the latest random item she decided to eat that she wasnt supposed to eat. Is it possible to repla...

Re: Pancreatitis

That made me sick just reading that, I can't imagine how it must make you feel living it. I would be POed if the way Tux looks resulted in less than stellar care.

Breaks my heart. Hang in until tomorrow, Tux. Is he at least hooked up to IV fluids and IV nutrients to keep him going?

Re: Bad tooth, what do you think?

The price is on par for what we paid here in Seattle to have Sadie's molar removed. No teeth were cleaned and no xrays were taken though, because we knew it had to be removed (slab fracture). It was $600 all said and done. It was a really big molar though. I hope My SuperStar feels better soon! <3

Re: Pancreatitis

Well wishes from myself and the girls Pancreatitis is no fun. I don't know if this would help at all but when Violet gets a sour stomach and needs to eat grass we feed her a piece of bread. I'm guessing it takes up the extra acids. It's what settles her the fastest. I have no idea if that would help...

Re: Gaining Weight

My 2 cents, for what it's worth - sounds like a combo of just her maturing and filling out plus a little extra chub. Not a ton - she isn't what I would call fat - but you could cut back on food a smidge and she wouldn't starve or anything. If you are fretting over cutting back her food, try putting ...
