Re: Any suggestions on skin supplements?

From my experience TOTW(Taste of the Wild) Salmon formula is better on my dogs coat and skin than any of the other formulas. I also do 2 pumps of salmon oil on their food. They are soft and glossy :) I didn't even know they had a salmon formula! I will definitely be switching her to that! 8) I know...

Re: Any suggestions on skin supplements?

When I got her was using blue buffalo and my vet suggested Taste of the Wild a few months back. I don't plan on changing her food again unless there is a real need to. Thank you for your suggestion I will look into it!

Re: Any suggestions on skin supplements?

The vet recommended Taste of the Wild Wetlands which is a very high end duck dry dog food. I am not using any supplements at the time. (thanks for asking, I should have put this information in my original post!)
It would also have to be something for her age, she is only 9 months old.

Any suggestions on skin supplements?

Peaches has a pretty dry coat and is very prone to hot spots and allergies. Any one have suggestions for supplements for her coat?
I am also switching her to Malaseb shampoo.

I'm very sorry to hear about the UK banning our furry friends but good for you for being an advocate for the breed! Fostering can be a very difficult thing I'm sure, but we need people like you!

Happy Posting!

Re: Giardia- Yuck!

Thank you for your input! This is a very helpful website! Fortunately I don't think either dog has it :) It is possible the pup just had some diarrhea and I will be feeding him some pumpkin with his diet for the next few days. Hopefully that should clear up the problem and if not, he will be going i...

Giardia- Yuck!

I am familiar with Giardia because my 8 mo old Pit must have picked it up from a park sometime ago. For those who don't know Giardia is a very common parasite that can be picked up through drinking water, saliva, & feces of an infected dog. It results in watery stools and will prevent proper abs...

Peaches and her Mommy :)

Hi everyone! My name is Taylor and I have a 6 month old pitbull named Peaches and we live in Orange County California. I've owned a pitbull mix before and I love the breed because of how loyal and loving they are. Having a pitbull puppy brings a lot of negative attention but I wouldn't trade it for ...
