I love Nylon collars. I FINALLY found 1.5" purple Nylon collar, with a METAL snap buckle(instead of belt type buckle). Nice and thick, and the buck is very sturdy. Only $8 at Tractor Supply Co.
Normally Jada wears the little fashion collars from a little doggie boutique thats local.

Jada was 21lbs at 15 weeks, and is usually between 46 and 48lbs. She's a little over 2 years.

I've always heard the same as Lora, double what they weigh at 4 months, and thats about what their adult weight will be.

Jada has been having some more boogers lately. My guess is its ragweed. She usually has allergies 2x a year, and this is one of them. I just give her a Benedryl at night if she acts itchy or anything.

Lucky! Jada tries to KILL the vaccuum. Its one where you plug the hose directly into the wall, and so there is the hose, and then attachments...well, Jada has put multiple bite marks into the attachments. We have to put her on another floor when we vaccuum, otherwise it takes ALL day!

Jada does zoomies all the time, but usually ALL the way around the house. Which is probably 250ft long, and just sprints around several times. Its so funny, she disappears around one side of the house, and then pops up right behind you. It cracks everyone up!!!

Jada sometimes feels warm to the touch. Especially if she's been lying on a certain area, or if I've been rubbing her there(friction). Maybe it was one of these things causing the heat?

We had to seperate the sections of the house. Jada will terrorize them, no matter HOW scratched up she gets! Its called prey drive, and she can't stop until she gets it. She's never actually gotten ahold of them, or really close, but she has gotten quite scratched up. So we have the top floor of our...

Whisker loss?

Weird question. Jada and I were running errands today, and while waiting for a friend at the pet store, I started messing with her face. I accidently pulled a whisker out. She did nothing, didn't even register that it had come out. And I barely pulled it! So of course I had to start picking some mor...

sean w, It's not a theory, it's a fact. I've seen it happen twice in two weeks after the kids put him in the cage. Even thought the house rule is to take his collar off if he is put in the cage. Kids don't always remember the rules. Do what you like, hopefully it'll be alright. I agree. All ...

Lex is eight months old. Did Jada ever calm down her sniffer? It is getting ridiculous taking him outside...he will sniff around the yard for an hour and refuse to come in. I know that dogs sniff, but I am hoping this excessiveness is just a phase! Um, kind of. She is so used to going places, she d...

The only reason you want to avoid feeding them very close together is because one digests more quickly than the other. I can't remember which one is which. But it can deprive the dog of nutrients.

The only problem I see is that with a raw diet, she would be getting NO bone. Which a really important part of any raw diet. I would stick with some kibble for now until you can get some bone in the diet. Raw is just as easy as kibble. I don't have any freezer room right now until I get a new deep f...
