At my wits end with this dog!

He won't have a vet appointment until tomorrow, so it's worth a shot putting his kennel in our bedroom for the night.

At my wits end with this dog!

AllisonPibbleLvr wrote:If he's having solid stools outside his kennel and diarrhea only when he's kenneled, it sounds like he could be stressed about being in his kennel. What happens if you confine him to an area of the house rather than in his kennel?

At my wits end with this dog!

Is he 6 or 5 months?Your other post says 6. The rule of thumb is to take them potty for however many months they are plus 1. So 5 months = minimum every 6 hours. I know you say you take him out many times daily and on a schedule, but how many hours are between the breaks? Also, after any treats, me...

At my wits end with this dog!

As some of you may know, I have a 5 month old Lab mix puppy named Baloo. He is a great dog. Spunky, smart, easy to train... But he can't seem to stop using the bathroom in his kennel. He's done it since we got him at 11 weeks old and hasn't stopped. I figured it might just be a stage, but he is abou...

4Health or Diamond Naturals?

I simply can't afford to feed my dogs TOTW anymore. They do great on it, but the amount I spend a month on dog food ($200-$250) is just too much. So I am having to switch to something cheaper, but I'm trying not to compromise too much on quality. I was going to try Kirklands, but I can't find anywhe...

Psycho Puppy!

I'm unsure what ways to exercise him since he is so young. I walk him on my bike sometimes, and then play tug in the house or the dog park can wear him out. But he still gets zoomie. I am going to try the reteaching sit idea....is this a normal puppy thing?

Psycho Puppy!

So, my Baloo is 6 months old now. (Ish). I haven't done a whole lot of training with him...just the basics. Sit, down, come, kennel, get down, not yet, and he has pretty good recall. But recently, it's been hard doing training sessions with him. I'm posting this because today was just a bit much. He...

Good diet for an elderly dog?

Oh man, I totally forgot about this thread. You know when people respond to you online, you say you'll respond in a second, then navigate to another page and totally forget? Sorry guys, lol. All this advice is amazing. I think I am going to move Penny to Orijen Senior when we have the extra cash to ...

I feel sad. /: Money is always such an obstacle. It always is, but the bright side is that CASI has a much more in-depth and factual program than ABC at half the cost. I've noticed that, lol. So, for the CPDT, the head trainer hours...does that have to be at a certain facility? Because there is a p...

This makes my head hurt. Sorry if I seem slow guys, I have a mild learning disorder that makes me a little slow, but once I understand things I get them better than most. Just has to "click". So if I repeat things, sorry!
