While you are waiting to get to the vet, if you haven't already gone, you can put hot compresses (facecloth that you keep rinsing and ringing out with hot water) on it to try and get it to drain.

Sidney used to get sick in the car everytime from nerves. We got her to the point where she can ride now without being sick. We just started taking a lot of short rides and taking rides to fun places (like gramma's) so she could see that carrides were not so bad. She still gets nervous, but I stopp...

I feed raw and I do not fast my dogs. Most people I know that feed raw don't fast their dogs either because your dog will pester you all day for something to eat because they are hungry.

It looks from the picture that there is stuff coming out of his eyes too. It is spring time, possibly he's allergic to something environmental but he may be too young for allergies. I agree with everyone that you should talk to your vet and find out what is causing your dog to be itchy. There are so...

You could try giving him some Probiotics, purchased at a health food store. Half a capsule a day would be sufficient. It will add good bacteria into your dogs system, or plain yogurt with probiotics added like Activia. Canned pumpkin works well to firm up poop.

I feed a raw diet, neither of my dogs get any corn in their diets. Tucker's feet smell like corn chips, they always have. Muay's feet don't smell like anything. I'd think it has more to do with how they sweat. If your dogs feet were yeasty they would smell really bad - I personally don't mind the co...

Sometimes when switching to a raw diet your dog will go through a detox period. You should ask your vet if your dog can have Benadryl (antihistamine) to help stop some itching.

I would start with feeding Buffalo which is a protein that most dogs haven't tried before. If you are going to feed veggies as well on a raw diet then I would suggest red lettuce only - veggies must be pulverized or juiced for dogs to digest properly.

I'd definately make a trip to the vet for a urinalysis because a simple bladder infection, can turn into a kidney infection and you dog may be in pain.

I feed a raw diet and Muay only poops once per day, sometimes Tucker will poop two or three times, but they probably all add up to one regular size poop for a kibble fed dog.

Tucker does it sometimes too. It looks like he gives himself a hicky. I put aloe vera gel on it and it takes the red out right away.

I would say maybe once a month maximum. Too much bathing could reduce your dogs natural oils on their skin and it will cause you other problems. Why do your dogs smell? Do they go out and get wet often? My dogs don't smell, but they wear coats out in the rain and I dry them off as soon as they come ...
