Re: Hard decisions: when is it time to let an old dog go?

Eek--by that standard, I would have been put to sleep a long time ago, and I'm only 48! I'm still in good shape, but I can't ski the same moguls or deep powder; I stopped climbing; and my kayaking has gotten more careful. (I still love to eat!) not being able to do them due to injury or some unfors...

Cooper in NC, has till July 6th

Cooper is a cream red nose. He approxamatly 3-5 years old. He is located in Morganton North Carolina, and is available for adoption. Cooper was abandoned and is currently being housed at a local boarding kennel, so we do not know a whole lot about him. His boarding is paid up through July 6th. He is...

Re: Hard decisions: when is it time to let an old dog go?

I was always told, the easiest way to make this decision was this....

Pick 3 things your dog LOVED to do as a young dog. 3 Activities, or events or things that they would eagerly do daily *eatting odesn't count*
When your dog can no longer do 2 of these, it is time.

Frontline does not repel ticks, it kills then once they bite the dog. So finding freshly attached ticks, does not mean the frontline is not working. Finding ticks that are attached for more than 24 hours and are still alive, would be a bad thing. I often find fresh ticks on my lab after he has been ...

Most male pit bulls are not full matured, filled out, done muscling, or mentally alll there until close to 3 years of age, tho depending on the bloodline, this is not always the case. I personally prefe...

Any suggestions

I have a 10 year old female pit bull who is the light of my life. I love this dog and would do anything for her. She is for all intents and purposes very healthy, happy, active, and acts like a very young dog. She has a minor kidney issue, *elevated blood something or other* that we monitor and keep...

Daimond does not make it, they distribute it.

GREAT dog food, been on it almost a year now, coats and muscle tone like no other. Eat less, poop less, nice shiny teeth... wonderful.

Be aware... if you over feed... they will get loose stools!!!

don't need to do anything special other than keep her under extream confinement, don't take your eyes off her, and don't leave her unatended for even 5 minutes if she's not secured in a room or crate.

I can get Frontline Plus in single doses from my vet in NC for about 15 dollars a dose. OR you can order it from Pet Edge in 3pk boxes for about $30-$35 And make sure it's the PLUS not the regular.. the Regular doesn't kill the Eggs, the PLUS does. http://health.petedge.com/Frontline-Plus-3-Month-Fl...
