Yikes. I have no advice, but I am sorry you have to put up with that! They don't do it at night do they?!
I only know one dog on clomicalm, from work..she isn't running into brick walls in a frenzy anymore, but she is still crazy, only with a glazed look in her eyes... :dunno:

cmiller, If I were in your situation, I'd make a vet appointment to make sure it's nothing medical, schedule an evaluation with a behaviorist just to confirm my feelings, and then I would have my dog euthanized. The first two steps would be for my peace of mind, and the last step would be for my do...

I went through this with my last dog, and I hate to admit, I turned a blind eye to it at first out of sheer love for my dog. I had raised him "right"; with all the love and training I could give. I thought I could work it out of him, I tried a behaviorist and different methods of training,...

Baby loves the boat. She is obsessed with staring into the water, or onto the shore, hunting for fish or wildlife. The first time we went out, she jumped intot he boat like she'd been doing it all her life!

Have you tried Jake and Daisey's or In the Raw? I know at my store, we are now leaning more towards convenience for our customers, so we are freezing the raw meats into one pound cubes...people love it. I'm sure one of them has something similar..I can't fing the In the Raw link, but here is Jake n ...

I have heard of people putting thin cookie sheets on the counters, with the edges sticking a few inches out from the edge of the counter. When the dog jumps up, the cookie sheet springs up and falls on the floor, scaring the bejeesus out of the dog. Maybe a bit less drastic than mousetraps (ow!)
