Suggestions for my Pits Woof Day (Birthday) present

What would you guys and gals suggest as a good Raw Meal for his woof day? He does great on Chicken so Im wondering if a Cornish Game Hen would be good or are the bones too small? He does ok with Beef, so Maybe a RMB, but what RMB would be the best as he loves to eat the marrow? any and all suggestio...

try putting your dog on a limited ingredient food... ie, only 1 protein source. It may be an allergic response to 1 or more of the protiens in the food. My Pit does not do good on Salmon or Turkey, and gets the runs as you describe. Try chicken, rabbit, lamb and/or beef, 1 at a time to see what work...

Kanobis' vet recommended using VICKs vapor rub to stop licking since it tastes terrible but is non toxic.

about a week after the vet visit the lump on Kanobis head started to regress.. it is all but gone now and should start to regrow the fur there. the 1 on his left hind leg has stopped growing and hopefully will also regress soon.

hystiocytoma perhaps.. my pit has 2, 1 on his head and 1 on his left hind leg

they are somewhat common on dogs under 2 yrs old. the vet said

saw the vet today, cytology came back histiocytoma... he said barring infection, the lump/s should regress in a few months. If not.. then we have the option of removal.

Kanobi was treated for a skin condition with Clavamox for 14 days about 2 weeks prior to us adopting him. The scabs cleared up and he was fine. About 6 weeks ago I had him on NV Salmon and the bumps slowly started to return. I took him off the Salmon and put him on NV Rabbit thinking the bumps were ...

I was feeding Kanobi NV Rabbit kibble and rotated him to NV Salmon and he is now very very loose when he deficates. I thought rotation of feed of the same brand was seemless and without digestive issue. What is the problem?

about a week now feeding NV kibble and raw. he loves the fresh chicken! he gets some gas now and then...will that pass as he gets used to the higher protien diet? how long is long enough on 1 protien to try a new 1? and how long till I should add organs? thanks all for the great thread! 1 last quest...

well, my local store didnt have TW... so I ended up getting NV Rabbit kibble. He's going to get 1 scoop of it tonight to flush out the Iams crap aswell as 5 more oz of the Rabbit and Produce. Tomorrow he will get his first chicken leg.

the guy at the pet food store also feeds raw/barf.

I believe Im going to use TW Wilderness Elk as a base for barf and feed my RMB and raw protiens at his nightly feeding.

He gobbled the NV Rabbit and produce like it was steak tartar.
