You have taken all precautions and my hat is off to you. I bike with my boy Baron and he began limping a bit and ended up sore in an ankle joint (don't know the proper term, sorry). Took him to the vet and he was put on anti-inflammatory med.

Gotta remember to start slow for a while.

Is Nutro still a bad feed?

I know there's been some backlash against this brand but is it still legit?

I've been feeding Baron this for about 2 months and he's been doing well, should I be afraid of the hype?

What is the best way to deal with a hyper dog?

I have a 9 1/2 month old pup (male), and any time someone goes to pet him he starts getting hyper. It also happens when my wife or I get home from work. I'm working on ignoring him when this happens and hopefully that will work. I realize that part of it comes from him still being a puppy so I'm try...

I stand by Blue. It's a little pricey compared to cheap brands but it's one of the better quality ones, especially at your local pet store.

It's all I feed my 9 month pup Baron.

I combine 3/4 bitter apple 1/4 water in a small spray bottle and set the bottle to the stream setting. When Baron exhibits a behavior I don't like (he's a 6 month old pup) I spray in the face mouth area. He immediately stops. He doesn't jump up on people now and does not like the stream of bitter ap...

Re: Didn't see it so for all of the people in Sacramento....

The Sacramento SPCA has a program called "we pay to spay" where pit bulls and pit mixes can be altered for free. http://www.sspca.org while you are there they can be heartworm tested, vacc'd and chipped for an extra fee.. I'm in Manteca, would I have to be a Sac Co. resident for this prog...

Sorry, I only skimmed through some of the pages , but does anyone have any low cost neutering spots for Nor Cal- Manteca, Stockton, or even the Bay Area? I tried the "Friends" site mentioned but they did not have any in my area.

Thanks, I usually get the Blue puppy food, but I had a brain fart that day I guess. It's a small bag so I'll just feed him extra until the bag is gone.

and didn't realise it until I had already opened the bag and was feeding my 13 week pup. It's a small bag but is it ok for him to eat?
