Re: New grain-free dog food!

The dogs have been on it for 1 month now.. Deno's skin has improved... he hasn't had any flair ups. I continued with 1 cup morning & night.. his weight is normal. Poops are normal. Only difference is his farts smell fishy... same fishy smell from poop. yuck.

Re: Names I'd like to never hear again*

The one dog named Deno actually looked like my Deno. The owner is the same age as myself.. and she spells her name Candice the same way as me. WEIRD. Are you sure you weren't standing infront of a mirror talking to yourself? haha, well no.. since it was someone on a pit bull forum... perha...

Re: Names I'd like to never hear again*

Cooper. My cousin just got engaged to a Cooper... every time I hear the name.. I think of a dog - golden retriever. Now... on the other hand, the name Deno. I have seen 1 other dog named Deno (spelled that way) and 1 spelled Dino on the boards. I've actually met more people with the name Dino... I m...

Re: Arthritis Question

My experience with deno was that they took xrays and were able to show me where the arthritis was and they did blood work before prescribing rimadyl.

Re: Grooming / shaving?

I use to be a groomer, and my experience with shaving dogs with all coat types was that the shedding almost always stopped... until the hair grew ba...

Re: Shedding! </3

My Min Pins shed really bad. They get a bath once a week. I scrub them with shampoo and try to remove as much hair as possible, and them soak them in conditioner. I then rinse and continue removing as much hair as possible - by scrubbing them up and down with my hands. Once they are dry, I brush th...

Re: Shedding! </3

Mambo sheds like a thousand big hairy dogs. I brushed him out today, got a regular grocery bag full of his hair, and this evening he already had tufts of shed sticking off of his butt at odd angles. Some of them just shed a ton. I use the Furminator on the girls about once a week and that's all the...
