With submissive peeing, I'd try ignoring the dog in situations where he's likely to pee. No eye contact even when in situations where you'd normally be greeting him (ie, no greeting). Certainly any mentioning of the peeing while he's doing it is counterproductive, and of course, after he's done it ...

Just to make sure I get this straight. :) You would like me to identify the peeing (like tell him that he's peeing?) Tell him again when he stops by praising him? I'm not sure what you mean by bridge and two finger target to be honest. Could you give me some more information or let me know where I c...

Submissive peeing

Yes, I did a search too but didn't find what I was looking for. Jake is a submissive pee'r. I can be in a really happy mood and go to pet him, and he will cower down and pee. This happens even after he has been outside and has pee'd. What do I do about this? He's never been abused (by us at least, w...

That's not how I'm reading it. It sounds like AC wanted the dog handed over to them so they could prosecute the owner and euth the dog. The OP decided not to do that, so the dog is alive and with the OP?

I would be the neighbor calling AC or watering your dog myself. Please don't deprive your dog of water! It is absolutely irresponsible and disgusting to do so. :po: Either be a responsible owner or find a new home for your dog. It deserves so much more than being banished to the backyard and forgott...

Jack loses a toy to the garbage as soon as he pulls any stuffing out. I can't trust him not to eat the stuffing. My dogs destuff their toys within minutes, but don't throw away the carcass!! You can toss the stuffing and allow them to chew on the carcass. I know my dogs love that part (sometimes I ...

I wish I knew what to tell you. :frown: I realize that it's redirection, but it wouldn't be acceptable to me. I know others might disagree, but I would euthanize. Where did you get Kayrah from? Can you return her? I'm glad that you're admitting that you can't handle her, so now it's just deciding wh...

Last time I checked pee was a lighter shade of yellow. :huh?: Maybe I just assumed pee was supposed to be clear from my husband's military experience. Hydrate and vacate (or something like that) and if it wasn't clear, they weren't hydrating enough. http://www.school-for-champions.com/health/urine_...
