Re: When to say When

I have some leftover suntint for the windows I can send. Makes a huge difference. I found an old metal industrial window fan and bolted it to the window frame to discourage a dog who had jumped through the screen. Hope you find a solution

Keeps them occupied for a while. At night they get the remainder which is now defrosted in their bowls wi...

Re: hello new 7 week

Hi Jesse
I know many people that have found their dogs that way. I brought my ellie home because she was in a terrible situation, chained and bred repeatedly.

Re: Ollie is back with us

Yay!!! Fingers crossed for Ollie- he deserves a great home, he's such a character.

Hugs Leila- if it's any consolation Jack calmed down at about age 6. He is still up for anything(just learned a new trick), but can chill out and relax.

Re: Does your rescue/shelter offer sales?

There was a news story this week that said our local pound was full and dogs were in danger of being euth'd. That is worrisome because some awesome local rescues pull from the pound. I wonder if they are completely full or the dogs are sketchy. Adopting from the pound is practically free. Its $50 fo...

Switched to raw a few weeks ago. So far I love it -i buy premade frozen patties but its expensive. I've never seen the dogs so excited about supper

Re: Ollie is back with us

I remember his video- I laughed so hard- especially when he was "swearing" to get out of his crate- I'm on the east coast but everyone I showed that video to fell in love with him! Good luck finding his forever home. He reminds me so much of Jack when he was young.

Re: New MCT? chewing his backside and a bald cat

Just back from the vet- the cats were due in March so I brought everyone for their yearly. I had to laugh- the vet said- the cat's not happy. Too much stress from this winter, the cats haven't been able to get out to their 3 season room. Actually my husband took it over - he stored the pellets out t...

Re: Re: New MCT? chewing his backside and a bald cat

Thanks misskiwi I dosed him with frontline and fleacombed him. Didn't see any but he saw the cone and ran to the door. Anything to avoid wearing it. :)I want to get an inflatable one. Welcome to springtime... the bald cat is overgrooming and probably itchy. The hot spot is also due to itching. Put a...

Re: New MCT? chewing his backside and a bald cat

When dogs chew that much on their backside, the first thing that comes to my mind is fleas. Not necessarily that he HAS fleas, but that he has been bitten by a flea...and perhaps has an allergy to fleas. I used to see this a lot when I was a groomer and worked in a vet hospital. One of my parent's ...
