Re: LEGO: From prepared to paranoid...

Wednesday Lego was neutered. It went flawless. He's doing great! Everyone there fell in love with him and bragged about what a good boy he was. I guess they let him loose while he was recovering/waking up, because when they called to update me, the lady said that while everyone else was raising a ra...

Re: LEGO: From prepared to paranoid...

Oh, and sydnops, I think I have made some progress too. As Jackson galaxy calls it (yes, the cat guy) I have found Lego 's "jackpot treat." On walks, I have been taking peanut butter. Our son has these homemade popsicle molds, and I pack one with peanut butter. They are long and skinny, so...

Re: LEGO: From prepared to paranoid...

Thank you brokenaquarium, that certainly puts my mind at ease. He does really seem playful when he does it. I don't really think that he doesn't like his head being patted, because when he's calm, he comes up to me with those puppy dog eyes and stares at me until I pet him, then his head goes limp i...

Re: LEGO: From prepared to paranoid...

My concerns thus far are few, and may just be normal puppy behavior. I've had puppies before, but each one is unique, so I don't have a basis for comparison. His leash manners are very inconsistent. He will walk when we walk, stop when we stop, and stay to our side...in the house, in any other build...

Re: LEGO: From prepared to paranoid...

Just thought I would post an update on Lego's progress. He is such a good boy!!! I've never had such an easy puppy! From the very first night, he sleeps all through the night. No crying, no playing, no getting up to potty, nothing. Sometimes we invite him on the bed, but most nights he happy to lay ...

Re: Missouri law to prohibit BSL!

Have you heard any update on this? I looked up hb1116 and it's just a bill concerning dogs running at large. I also looked in the news, hearings, and journal sections for that day, on the house of reps site...And hb1116 wasn't mentioned, nor anything about bsl. Hmmmm?

Starter muzzle?

I've been checking out the search results for "muzzle" on here and haven't come across what I'm looking for. Admittedly I haven't read through all 2000+ posts, so please direct me if I didn't see it. I'm wondering if anyone could suggest a cheap, useless muzzle for a puppy. At this point, ...

Re: Bulbus Glandis or...?

They almost look to me like tiny specs of dried blood. Like I said, when I adopted him, I bathed him right away and they instantly disappeared. I have no idea really. Next time I see one, I will wet it and see if it smears reddish brown. He's fine now though. Whatever those lumps were are gone. He's...

pet peeve about parasite prevention

Every year when it's time to resupply, I go through this. But this year I'm gonna rant about it, in hopes that some of you veterinary peeps might have some advice. Choosing products have become so frustrating. If we can put monkeys in space, make birth control for our pets, make biochemically safe c...

Re: Bulbus Glandis or...?

Whatever those tiny black specs are, he had a bunch of them when we adopted him. I just thought he was dirty. As soon as we got him home, we bathed him, and hadn't see any since. It's been roughly three weeks. We found those specs and lumps when we got back from a super bowl party. So whatever happe...

Re: Bulbus Glandis or...?

No offense intended. I didn't mean it like that. I know no one would literally laugh at my concern (not to my face anyways, maybe to themselves)... i just didn't want to freak out over nothing and waste everyone time. His appointment went fine. Vet said it just looked like irritation from bites. Tho...

Bulbus Glandis or...?

hey guys, last night i got home and found two lumps on lego. i've had other males before, so i didnt totally freak, just assumed it was his glands swelling. but upon further inspection, i have to say that it really doesnt look like the bulbus glands to me. one looks similar to the gland, and the the...

Re: Traveling with your bullies

Oops...let me specify. I understand that I need to follow each cities rules while I am actually staying and visiting for a few days. I was wondering more about being on the road with them. As long as it's not an outright ban, how do the authorities react to stopping and letting them potty? Or runnin...

Re: Traveling with your bullies

Well, I plan to. But what I'm asking is...what are the rules for traveling? Everything I'm finding is concerns residents only. I've been looking up all the city codes for the places I frequent, but nothing about temporary stops or traveling through these areas. However, in searching through the city...

Traveling with your bullies

In the past my dogs have traveled everywhere with us. Now that I have a pitpup I have been researching the laws in my area and places that I travel to and through. I knew that my surrounding area has no bsl. However I was surprised to read this morning that a town 45 minutes away has deemed pit bull...
