I sure would like to hear any advice on this because I go through the same thing with Solomon. I can't even let him swim off leash, because I can't call him out of the water. He has gotten to the point where he will retrieve the toy and bring it to the edge of the pool, but then he rushes and side d...

I wouldn't be popping her a flagyl though. It is an antibiotic and you still run the whole gamut of creating antibiotic-resistant bacteria with it.

I totally agree!

Vicki gets a little mushy at agility trials.
I give her Olewo carrots with her morning meal, and it helps a bunch.

Thanks Mil. I can see this is going to take alot of work. Veronica will do the 12 weaves slowly without popping out. If I try to hurry her she starts popping out like...3 weaves skip 2, one weave skip 2, 2 weaves...I'm done!! The channel weaves are the circular things you can buy that guide the dog...

Channel weaves help a lot with speed. In class, we have also been working on a 'speed' word to get the dogs going when we want that extra burst of speed. Another thing we do is use oppositioal reflex for speed. I hold her back by her collar or a harness at the start of the weaves and have someone ho...

Mil, what about the fact Diamond is now the manufacturer of the food? I missed that part. I'd say I'd still try it. I don't have a problem with Diamond...their issues seem to be resolved, I know a lot of people that still feed Diamond, and their dogs look great. I knew a guy that fed it through all...

I doubt if the change will affect dogs much unless a dog may be super sensitive to lamb...which may not matter either because it had lamb in it before, just further down. So lamb sensitive dogs might not do well on this food anyway. As far as the vitamin source and fish moving down on the list, many...

After having my heart dog pass on from cancer (she did live to be a nice, old age though), it helped me to learn a lot about just keeping an overall eye on things with my dogs now. I am more proactive about giving them informal go overs, etc. I also watch what they eat and make sure that I limit the...
