Vicki doesn't do well on beef, and it gives Solomon the runs, so I don't feed it much. They do fine without it. Dairy doesn't seem to affect them one way or the other, but the most they get is string cheese for training.

L Boogie, maybe add digestive enzymes until they get adjusted to it? I do this whenever I give my guys something new, and it really helps with gas and stuff.

Are you going to keep feeding Timberwolf? The Merrick Before Grain ingredient list looks really good, and their canned formulas are ALL meat, and the only other ingredient is water.

I also can't remember, did you ever try the TOTW?

From the symptoms I would put my money on the tea tree oil, it's known to be toxic to animals and cause that type of reaction.

I agree. I don't use tea tree oil in any mixtures for the dogs, it's just too iffy.

I just saw this at the feed store where I buy my canned dog & cat food. Since I haven't been feeding kibble and have a five month old bag of NV I need to give them, I didn't buy a little bag of the kibble to try, but I did get several cans of the wet food. I think this would be a great food for ...

Have you tried contacting a canine nutritionist to have a home-cooked diet planned for him ? I can PM you the name of someone I like and trust a lot, if you are willing to cook. This can help alleviate some of the problems. I agree with this. It sounds like Toda needs specialized diet & supplem...

Seems to happen to Vicki in the spring when she's exposed to more allergens. She had a mucous poop yesterday, not a big deal for her.

I've talked to several raw feeders in my area that don't like it because it's so greasy & fatty, but my two do really well on it! Just shows that, like Marie said, customize, customize!
