It always is, but the bright side is that CASI has a much more in-depth and factual program than ABC at half the cost.

Ahhh... I understand. Okay, so it's a line of credit (with interest) from Paypal, like a credit card, subject to approval: https://personal.paypal.com/cgi-bin/marketingweb?cmd=_render-content&content_ID=marketing_us/BillMeLater_ProductOverview" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Yes!...

Re: Animal Behavior College?

Stormi, I've never heard that you could pay in payments, I've always been told that you have to pay in full. Do they bill your paypal account in full and then you pay it back slowly? That's different from what I previously understood. It's a paypal thing, not a CASI thing. It's called their "b...

Re: Animal Behavior College?

From your experience, should I take more than one course? I really want formal education in basic obedience and solving problem behaviors, and en education on behavioral science as well. Here's a link to their behavioral programs of study, both diploma and certificate programs. Each of them include...

Most of their billing is done through paypal, which does offer payment plan options. If you have any specific questions about the courses, James and the other professors are all very helpful and approachable.

Re: Animal Behavior College?

I guess you can tell my mentor with decades of experience as a trainer/behavioralist that he is wrong too. Where is his listing in the applied animal behaviorist directory? Because I'm sure the ABS would love to know one of their certified behaviorists approves the use of prong collars. If he's not...

Boswellia serrata

Yup. The supplements I use for Jack are a combo of glucosamine and boswellia. Boswellia functions as a natural anti-inflammatory, and conveniently enough for us (from what I've read, anyway) seems to be particularly effective for spinal issues.

Glucosamine in treats, enough for arthritis?!

Yes, it is one of the Chinese made products. He knows that, and that's why he now only buys the duck flavor. I guess he thinks because it isn't chicken, it's safe. I've only read about chicken being dangerous, but I wouldn't consider anything made in the same factory safe. Thoughts? Same as yours. ...

They don't. And (someone correct if I'm wrong) but I *think* that brand of jerky is made overseas, and there have been numerous reports lately in regards to chicken jerky made overseas being a cause of death in many dogs.

Dog..Itching Bald, raw place on back

$35 for a vet visit is suspiciously cheap, actually. I don't think I've ever walked out from a basic check up for less than $50-$60. Given that this vet prescribes aspirin for arthritis and refuses to prescribe some ointment for a flea-bitten dog, and thinks a dog that has been vomiting off and on f...

EDIT: if used correctly, the prong is supposed to mimic the none painful correction given to a puppy by its mother. Except that it doesn't. At all. For someone who was claiming a while back that you wanted to go to school to become an applied behaviorist, perhaps some research on the basics of oper...
