Re: Whats up guys

Tomas, you can come to the event, and buy a practice ticket. You will be able to practice between the actual jumping times - let your dog come to the pool, see how he is with the water, and maybe even have him jump (if he is into it :) ) This is my bully competing: http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/...

Re: Whats up guys

Tomas, is Youngsville, NC far from you? If not, there will be a Splash Dogs event that you can take your boy to.

Re: Needle aspiration cost

Called two more vets that I have gone to before. One place would not give me an estimate either, saying that the doctor would have to look at it first.

And the third one was $47 for the test itself. Plus appointment fee of course. I made an appointment there.

Re: Needle aspiration cost

The woman who makes appointments said the doctor would give me a cost, and I would decide to go through with it or not at the appointment... On the other hand, if it is too much and I say "no", I will be out of $50 for an appointment fee... Ok, I don't like that. I am gonna call another vet.

Re: Needle aspiration cost

Suzi, they won't give me the cost (as I mentioned above...)

I am aware of the cost differences, but if I hear others, I can have an idea of the range for my area.

Needle aspiration cost

Has anyone had to do that for their dogs? I have an appointment this Saturday, but they won't give me a cost. I just want to know what I need to be prepared for financially.

Re: Tooth turning yellow after root canal

Thanks for asking!

Dentist said it does look slightly discolored, but she didn't seem alarmed. So, I will be watching it for the next few months, to see how much (if at all) it changes. If it clearly changes, then I will cap it at her follow up appointment (she will have to go under anyway).

Re: Pet Insurance

You are responsible for your vet fees upfront. So yes, it is not like human insurance with an office visit co-pay. God forbid your dog will ever need anything serious done... But even to take my root canal as an example. It was over $1800, my monthly premium is $50. It would have taken me 36 months ...

Talked to the vets assistant. She said it shouldn't turn yellow :( We have follow up appointment next Tuesday.
