c'mon... someone has to have an idea :)

I have scanned the web, and only mentioning of the similar nips comes from herding breeds web sites. Apperently it is common for them to nip at the heels. However, I have a pit bull... I guess she didn't get the memo...

Sheba is not shy, but she would rather not go, than go on the pavement. She needs a patch of grass, even if it is only a size of hankerchief.

Nipping: Herding or Agression? Need advice!

When I got Sheba, she started to develop guarding tendencies. For example, I will be in the office, and someone would come in to talk to me. She will sit between me and the person, facing the person. Once the person starts to leave, she will trot after them, and very casually nip on their pant leg. ...

Sheba has an awesome recall, but I use compulsion. I used treats at the beginning of the training, in order to teach her what I want from her. Then 6 foot leash and a prong. She would get leash pop if not obeying too quickly. Then long line with the prong, for more distance. Then the e-collar to pol...

Stealth, is that what it is called? Sheba does that. Seldom, but she still does. don't worry to hurt her. She doesn't liked to get jerked and dragged either. So, if you end up doing that to her few times, shortly she will understand, that if she stops, this correction will follow.

My dog would puke some of her breakfast out later in the day, but adding water to the bowl has eliminated that problem.

Yeah, what dawn said :)

She stops, you keep moving, even if you will have to drag her few times, even if it doesn't look pretty, just don't stop. Keep going, so she understands, that stopping will be on your terms, not hers. Are you rinning on a flat collar? Prong?

I think the question raised narrowes down to this:

If they produced a certain type of dog, and even put a different name on it (American Bully), are they going to establish an American Bully rescue as well, or is it up to pit bull rescues to place the american bullies still?
