Like Dick said, it's a natural instinct of the dog. There are Earth dog trials and such that deal with hunting up or treeing small prey (rabbits, squirells, coons). You could get with some hunters that hunt rabbits, if thats something done there in Scotland, but make sure the dog has the greatest re...

Sorry about that Ron,

I got abit ahead of myself. I use both spring pole and flirt pole for different things. Both are used for exercise, but I use the flirt pole at time to build focus and drive for training.

Some dogs can and some take more work, with Daisy she was always smelling the air and always nose to ground. So I though I'd give it...

I've been training my girl Daisy in dove hunting. She loves looks and smelling for it and loves nothing more to run and find it. Its only when you see a dog that really wants to work can you really appreciate the breed.

I will not use a two inch for various reason, but it depends on the dogs neck length. If he has a long neck then two would look fine. Most people like the two inch for the double buckle and they make a better tieout collar. None of my dogs get left outside long enough to be on teathered. My male has...

I highly recommend www.blackjacksleather.com Joe makes great leather colloars to fit each dog and will work with you on custom stuff as well. I'll be posting the new collars and lead I got from him. I also got my break stick from him as well, real cheap good quality.
