I am an advocate for exercise and alot more exercise but I don't think this is the problem. I suggest going over to leerburg.com and read Ed Frawley's stuff on becoming a pack ...

I would recommend the Obedience DVD from Ed Frawley over at Leerburg.com. Its alittle over four hours of great info. He explains alot and is better than going to a trainer at half the price. Seriously concider this DVD. You can also check out his website which has some free podcasts that play throug...

I'm not going to get into the whole Sch training with pit bulls, but I will say that a sound pit bull with good prey drive can be trained to do anything. Case in point, I have been training my female for dove hunting. She has a great prey drive which I have honed and she stracks and retrieves the tr...

Where did you see these books at? I would think you could apply the knowledge gained from the books in general to all dogs. Since there are volumes I believe you could read them seperatly without going in order.

Water exercise is a low impact exercise without loading the joints. This is the reason why some rehab methods are in the water and partly the reason for water aerobics. Confused: if you go to the soringer site they have a picture or two of thier set-up which would allow you to maintian control of the bike and your dog. The set-up keeps the dog from roaming all over the place and next to the bike. You can use your brakes and steer the dog in the direction you want.
