Re: Custom Leash and Martingale Collar

I've never made anything like this, though I've had requests for them. Now I know who to refer folks to! Your first picture gave me an idea (not to do with leather or rope, though) for Luke! It was fun to make <G> I've never tried anything like that before, so I wasn't sure how well I could do it, ...

I've met Fred in person, spent an entire day with him watching his methods. I prefer a different style.

Yep, though it doesn't just have to be Dawn dish soap. Any plain jane dish soap will work.

Junior - Senior boy in Sacramento

Junior is a pup at heart. He was scheduled to be euthanized in a local shelter, and he has been one of our CGC shelter training candidates, so when the shelter scheduled him to be euthanized, we pulled him (thanks to a veterinarian who volunteered to foster at our New Year's Eve event!) http://i117....

Re: Custom Leash and Martingale Collar

Thank you! I am pretty happy with it myself :) I made two of them. One from an older european training leash I had (black, super soft leather) and another new one in this brown.

Beautiful collars - as always. I don't think you've made a ho hum collar ever. :) Each one I've ever seen you post has been stunning and unique in its own way.

Re: Breeding Q- No Im not breeding my speutered dogs :P

I'm going to see my GSD friend today, so I'll ask her...but I know she has had two litters of working dogs in her time, and in both litters, the X rays were off. Different vets each time, I believe. But it could be they were doing them too early. I'll find out for sure!

Re: Breeding Q- No Im not breeding my speutered dogs :P

X raying, in my experience, doesn't do a lot of good. My friend's working GSD had a recent litter. X Rays said 5 pups. Dog ended up having 11 pups! That happens a lot. It seems x rays rarely give an accurate count. The only time they are useful is if they show five, and the mother isn't doing much a...

These collars use recycled leathers (belts, older leather collars, etc.) that have had new life breathed i...
