finally got some evo

I finally drove to the store in virginia beach to get some evo. I got 2 bags(28.6 pounds each). They were 41.89 each so with tax it came out to $87.97

Is that an ok price or did i get ripped off?

The dog seemed to really like it.

Someone the other day was telling me about creatine being in their foods. Ive seen a few people give creatine to their dogs and they always seemed to be healthy.

Just keep an eye on the dog. If they were going to have a problem it would happen fairly quick. My dog ate a wasp one time and nothing happened.

Foods like innova and canidae overall seem to be good quality foods. However, when something does go wrong with their foods they seem to disregard it. Innova had mold problems a few years ago but they never admit it.

If you already bought i bag i would use it and then switch to something else. If not, i would get something like canidae. When i tried natural blend i paid 32.99 for (i think 30 pound bag) when i could have bought canidae for 30.99(40 pound bag). You could get a bag of canidae for less which i think...

For people worried about high protein

My dog generally gets dry foods that have protein amounts between 22-30%. He is usually very active also. He's even had a 34% feed when he was really active and on the go all the time. I had the vet run blood tests while he was on a higher protein feed. All of his blood work came back good. I told t...

I think it contributes to chewing and scratching but that is hard to prove. The companies most likely add it to produce firm stools, and also make it sound like its as good as adding a tomato. The amounts are low so i wouldnt worry too much about one bag causing any major problems. I view it kind of ...

I used a bag and the dogs did ok on it but it was too expensive to continue(when compared to some other foods).

Tomato pomace is just a cheap marketing gimmick. I'd rather see them toss a tomato in the mix. Even a tomato run over by a steam roller would be better than pomace.

Solid gold

Anyone tried solid gold wolfking dog food? I got a bag as a rotation kibble since it had a different protein source.

From the list i like natures variety the best. I coud really feed less of it when compared to many other foods out there.

In my opinion, i would rather feed 1 cup of a high protein/fat food along with meats and other home cooked instead of feeding only 4 to 5 cups of a lower protein/fat food and no extras. Feeding less of a more concentrated kibble/along with other things seems to be easier on a dogs system. For those ...
