"Good" dog food can be expensive,,,,although worth it.....Maybe ask for some sample bags to see what your pooch likes...

Other than genetics is there a way to maybe increase the size of the head of a pit? I was talking to a women yesterday at night and her pit had a huge head, and she said she gave her those bones they sell in the pet shop to widen it. So any information would be cool. You can also use two leashes, put one around each front leg, and then loop the loops through each other to make a harness-ish thing over the back. Trust me, it can be done

It's not an easy incision to work with..... Misskiwi67, I cannot post pics as I haven't a camera. The incision runs from ear to ear smack dab in the middle of her neck (there is a bit of a slant) a piece of her hide that was removed was about 7''x3'',,,,I'm guessing @ 30+ staples... Bella went into surgery today to get her Mast Cell tumors removed.....There were 3. Her incision is right in the middle of the back of her neck,,,, :eek: they took a 6x3 inch chunk of hide off of her to get all of them as well as taking good margins. I am unable to get to a store to shop for a harne...

It certainly could be just the food. Probably so, but is he current on vaccines?? At one year of age he's still in the risk group for parvo so if he doesn't improve, vomits more or has increasing diarrhea, please get him in to the vet. I totally agree,,,,diarrhea always scares me,,,,and it is satur...

Just a thought here......Would the idea of training her to use a treadmill be a possibility? She may need to "work" her anxieties out with exersize,,,,,,with early am hours and winter (short days) coming,,,this may be what she needs if she cannot get enough "ball time",,,,walks,,...

I am far from educated on deaf dogs,,,but I do believe that their other senses are quite heightend,,,so maybe it's vibrations,,,and sense of smell he is responding to??...
