Zeppelin needs a mommy or a daddy (or both!)

Current on vaccinations and will be neutered/chipped prior to adopt...

I do the grind your own peanut butter at our local store so it doesnt have all the additives. I put a few pieces of kibble inside the Kong (amount obviously varies depending on size of Kong) and then make a peanut butter 'plug' to contain the rattling yummy kibble. THEN I put in the freezer. all poo...

thats a good price for that fish oil - never thought to look at costco or sams!

I use liquid because one of my dogs LOVES to regurgitate partially digested pills, capsules, etc. *sigh*

i feed kibble almost exclusively. I do supplement with a big ol tub of plain yogurt and fish oil, and on RARE occasions, I will feed a bit of canned dog food - but thats usually only when I am trying to put weight on someone, or trying to feed a fussy eater.

The ONLY thing that worked for Booker's happy tail was New Skin. He flinched the first time, only slightly, and after that he was fine. The key is to be sure to reapply it often (like daily) so that a coating builds up to protect the owwie...

sooo...had a checkup today. He is 78.2 lbs.

The vet said he reminded him of a Rott mix with messed up genes to cause the diluted blue...possibly mixed with Neo.

Tori tried to weigh him at the shelter prior to transport but he wouldnt stand still to get an accurate reading...he's right around 75ish, and thats with lots of loose skin. I think he will bulk up once he feels better and starts getting more exercise.

Gah! Gordo's eyebrows! (Okay, I am biased.) *giggle* I love his eyebrows, they give him kind of an old man look. He is SO mellow, and SOOOOOOOO cuddly. I was late for work today because I went in and curled up with him and fell back to sleep!! Thank goodness he snorts or I'd still be snoozing!
