Re: Zoey aka "Chin"

What a shame, people don't know how lucky they could be to get a dog who has been assessed and worked with as much as you do.
Is she allowed to behave 'normally' on that leg yet?

Re: Can you see any lameness??

Unfortunately, yes, lameness can be intermittent with partial cruciate damage. Hopefully it's just a soft tissue thing. I did notice at the very start of the first video that she did a toe curl and held up her right leg while taking a pee. Everything else I noticed was very slight hesitation with h...

Re: Can you see any lameness??

Good idea. Its 10 oclock at night here and dark here now,but I will do in the morning. Floozie was extremely lame on her rear right yesterday, like holding it up in her groin sometimes.I was terrified she'd bust her cruciate. Today as you can see barely anything noticeable on the right.(She has a smal...

Re: Not Keeping Weight Off As Easily?

Dogs mature 'thicker' as they reach adulthood, but he looks like he's carrying more weight, not being 'thicker set' to me. I never weigh out my dogs food, feed them x amount if they look chubby they get less, look too skinny, they get more. I would never have realised how many calories are in hotdogs!I n...

Re: Not drinking

Personally I think if the dog is well in itself and acting normally I wouldn't worry about when they drink. I have seen too many owners make the dog have a 'thing' about the water bowl by them keep trying to make the dog drink when it doesn't want/need to. Don't forget we drink recreationally,we may...

Re: Osteopathy - anyone tried it?

Brilliant! When mine get treated as soon as its finished they let out a huge contented sigh and go to sleep...even if they've been treated in the agility field, which is the most excited place in the world to them.
