I'm sorry I don't have any suggestions about books,but i do think you're right that she might need to spend some time without the other dogs,so you can build your relationship with her.(assuming that taking the dogs out of the equation doesn't make her more distrusting around you.)

I just take one dog into the garden or into a seperate room if I want to train them at home.
Alot of my training is done at training venues,or on walks.

Mookie gets anal gland problems,depending on what she is eating. When she is on dry food,doing bigger stools,she has no problem with them,but when she is on raw and like you said passes smaller stools,she needs them expressing by me. I think the lack of bulk to her stool stops her glands expressing ...

Wishing you and Sneaky good luck.My friends Rottie had to have a toe amputated because of a cancerous growth,that was last year sometime,and so far no problems. :)

I would buy more mats and cover the places she has to go.
Shady doesn't like slippery floors (although he can do a dog walk in agility at about 20 miles an hour lol ).We have mats down.
I ecspecially hate to see old dogs having to struggle with slippy floors.
