Re: Osteopathy - anyone tried it?

My dogs see an osteopath 2 or 3 times a year,or if I notice a problem,I've never had it done myself, but the dogs seem to benifit from it.

Re: Sunny's quite skinny; medical or not?

Well if he's been getting more exercise than usual, which I think he has,he's bound to drop a bit of weight if the feed has not increased with the exercise.

Re: Boy's Injury...Help Please

Did you rest your dog after the initial injury? I can't tell you if its his knee or some other soft tissue injury, but if a dog is injured you really need to rest them,to give it a chance to heal.I find it weird that your vet wouldn't tell you that, and would say that your dog would adapt? Sounds like...

Re: Purdue Vaccine Study

I think Catherine O'Driscoll is here in the UK.My vet does annual vaccinations, and that's what is needed to board your dogs here too.

Re: What is your feeding routine and how much time do you sp

I feed twice a day.It only takes about 5 mins. Put 4 of the dogos in the garden, bring Mindy inside and make her sit and wait in one place while I make it. Scoop some kibble into bowls, put Mindy outside, call Floozie,Mookie and Bug inside,Shady stays outside with Mindy. Tell everyone to sit and wait,t...

Re: This may be a silly question

Yep you can use it.As with all ashampoo make sure its rinsed out completly and you'll have no problems. I really think it is an old wives tale about taking too much oil and such, people seem to think something awful is going to happen to a dog if a single drop of human shampoo touches it! FTR I've us...

Re: Weird lip spasm

One of my Boxers Boo used to have little seizures which started off with just lip twitching.
The first few times we had no idea what they were,he also would come over to us and then do it.I hope that's not what it is for your girl, but after Boo I learnt that seizures can be really subtle.

Re: Pressure callus?

One of my Boxers used to get them on his elbows from lying on the concrete in the garden when it was hot.
I used Aloe Vera gelee on them and it really softened them up and they shrunk quite a bit as well.
