Thanks for the advice guys. I have decided to split his feedings, and to invest in a new bowl. I don't think he is doing this out of boredom, he is always out playing w/ Zoe, or i take him running, or we play fetch, tug etc. Unless maybe he thinks this is funner than all that lol! It is hard to resi...

How much is too much?

Alright, so here's my problem...all Bling wants to do is EAT!!! I give him a large bowl of food everyday. I was told this was adequate (he also gets snacks and things throughout the day) He is at a healthy weight, 55-60 lbs. And he is in good shape. But I think I may have goofed and made him find so...

my mom's dog Zoe has gotten into my rum and coke before and was fine...she actually was stumbling and acting kinda drunk, but was fine...no vomitting or nothing. My Great Dane was also notorious for getting into my rum and knocking over smirnoff (i think they were his fav drink). He never had any pr...

Chasing Cars

So, I learned that Bling loves to chase cars...he tries to dodge at them. So I put him on a shorter leash and taught him to "sit" when cars go by. He's been doing very well, he actually sits and stays on his own when he hears a car coming...but his idea of 'sitting' is getting in the lunge...

trying to help

So, my friend has a VERY overweight pit. I would have tried to help her sooner, but I don't see the dog very often. And when my friend moved downstate for school, the dog stayed with her mom. Well, now my friend is back here, and I saw her dog for the first time...it NEEDS to lose weight!!! I am try...

We got my Dane when he was 8 wks old, while he was a pup we just made sure to keep his bowl full. He actually didn't eat as much as I thought he would. And he is definitly not over weight, the older he got the more we started controlling his food.

That is just sick. Those poor pups. Their nails are soooo long. The pups from the Capone and Drama section's nails are really bad. They should DEFINITLY not be breeding. That's so sad

Keeping in shape

I was wondering what is the best type of exercise to keep a dog's muscles tone. I got Bling and now that he's putting weight back on I want to help get his muscles back in shape. We go running and play outside, any other suggestions?

Hi. My name is Emily and I am blessed with having my first pit! I rescued a Pit in Michigan when his old owners had problems with neighbors trying to poison the dogs. He is the love of my life! He is about 10 months old now. Since I have gotten him I also fostered another pit and found her a great h...
