Re: Emergency Vet Trip Today...

Thanks everyone! I went to check on the baby today, she seems to be doing good so far. We're definitely gonna get her fixed! I've already talked to a vet. (a different one than the one that said she can't get spayed). I'm supposed to call back at the end of the week to let them know how the infectio...

Emergency Vet Trip Today...

So I got a phone call from my ma this morning asking if there was any way I could take her dog, Sadie (I rescued her and her littermate at 4 wks :( and my ma adopted her...now 2yrs old), to the vet. They've had problems with her as far as her heat cycle goes, and she ended up getting an infection. W...

Re: Bleeding tail tip

I'm glad I found this! The dog I just rescued has a problem with happy tail. It's more of a problem now that he is comfortable in the home!!! People looked at me like I was nuts when I said he had happy tail :)

Need foster/rescue in MI

Is anyone aware of any rescues that have openings for a pit mix in MI? Or maybe someone who could foster one? She is a female, about 40-50 lbs., brindle about a year old and will be taken in to get spayed tomorrow. I can get more info on her, please feel free to PM or reply, she is in desperate need...

BSL New York???

Can anyone help me find a link or help me find out if there is any BSL in NY? or if there is any where I can find this out. I tried searching, and found an article that said that NY prohibits BSL, but wasn;t sure if this was an old article or not cuz there was no date

Thanks everyone! I think I might try to start with the window weights or a tire, then maybe get a cart. I know there was a site posted on here somewhere that does the custom weight pull harnesses. Would pet shops have just like the general sizes (s, m, l)?

for the most part, she listens very well inside. She will come, lay down, sit, shake, she listens to no (most the time). The only thing we really have a problem with indoors is keeping her off the furniture, and getting into the bathroom garbage. Occassionally she may chew something she isn't suppos...

How to weight pull question

Any DIYers out there that can help me with how to build my own weight pull cart or something like that? I would like to start Izzy with weight pull to get some of her energy out and would like to build it myself...maybe save some money? Thanks

Getting a dog to listen outside

So me and my bf just recently moved into our new house which has a VERY large fenced in backyard. One of the main reasons for us getting this particular house (besides the house itself lol) Well, we didn't want to have to put Izzy on a run or tie out since the backyard is completely fenced in becaus...
