Well, just one pic for today as I still have to get the video of playing fetch with her off the camera. http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m265/ejvanals/Bella%20Comes%20Home%20022809/2009_04_21_3572Large.jpg But other than that she's doing great. We got back from her final booster shot today & t...

She'll still be here after the spay as far as I know so I'll continue to update the thread until she finds a good permanent home :)

Just realized it's been a few weeks since I gave an update. Bella is doing well; health issues are all cleared up and we're working with the rescue to schedule her spay. Now that the weather is nicer we've been playing outside. She seems to enjoy fetch; teaching her the drop it command. She's a litt...

Patience.... The weather's finally been nice and we're doing our best to take advantage of it. Here's some new ones for you, haven't had a chance to touch them up yet, but to appease the mob :)) Oh Hi... you wanted to see me? http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m265/ejvanals/Bella%20Comes%2...

Phew.... just got a call from the Vet... Cody is negative for infection :peace:
And she's on the mend, the sun is coming out (yes... in Seattle no less!) now if it was only a weekend :)

Yeah, we were wondering also... but then again, she was a puppy with a compromised immune system who was also emaciated so any kind of contact probably gave the buggers a foothold. But keep an eye on your guys - according to google symptoms include weight loss, diarrhea and blood in stool - assuming...

hmm... well, the vet called and she's got Giardia. They gtave me metronidazone for her for the next 2 weeks and I got to bring them a fecal sample from Cody - hopefully he doesn't have it. They said it shouldn't affect the spay surgery itself, but to let the clinic know so they can take appropriate ...

ok... Time for the weekly update/bump :) And no pics for now - haven't had time to upload off the camera. We just got back from the vet & she's doing well. She's up to 28.8 lbs. I can't find her original weight when we got her about 4 weeks ago, but it was considerably less. Her hips, spine and ...

Ok... it's time for the weekly Bella update! She's really come out of her shell - course it's been 3 weeks. Talk about a trash talking girl to Cody. It's funny she'll start mouthing off to him if he's not playing with her enough. Also, we've got full-yard zoomies now! She's still starting to play th...

I don't know; Violet might have more information. She seems to be just fine WRT other dogs and treats at least. As mentioned earlier, we don't allow interaction while feeding meals but they are physically close to eachother. We treat them at the same time and she's shown no aggression towards Cody, ...

oh, hey, one more actually important thing to note: She does not appear to be food aggressive. I should've mentioned this the other day as it is always a concern especially from a dog who's been neglected. I can safely pet her, put my hand on her head, in her bowl and even in her mouth while eating....
