Cute family, though personally I don't think I'd risk having so new a rescue so close to my other dogs yet. You might find the 2 week give them a break sticky in the training forum helpful. Thanks for rescuing.

Hi, could you tell us a little more about yourself, so you can be given access? There's a sample intro sticky in this forum. Cute girl you've got there.

Re: Introductions

Hi, and welcome to PBF. We tend to be a very rescue oriented forum, there are a lot of members who are anti-breeding. That being said, clearly someone w/your years into the breed brings their knowledge and experience. Do you think you'd be comfortable on this kind of forum?

Re: Confusing behaviour around baby

Personally, I feel strongly that you should have a behaviorist come observe this. It's way too important for anyone to diagnose over the internet. It certainly sounds like excited behavior, while it could easily be something that a little training/conditioning could resolve, I wouldn't gamble. It so...

What an excellent idea.
Can I add that your dog was a beatiful pup, and she's a gorgeous adult.

Re: PeePoop out of control

Think of him as a 1 1/2 to 2 year old child. They're still in diapers for a reason. He's really not mentally or physically mature enough for what you want.

Re: good excitement vs bad excitement

It sounds like normal puppy behavior. You should read the "Mouthy pup" sticky in this forum. I would say factors 2-5 all have to do w/your puppy acting up. Mental activity, like trick training, can help burn off extra energy. Avoid Cesar Milan style dog training. While there are some good ...
