Not really much you can do if your dog is a hunter. They can have diseases and parasites, but just keep your dog UTD on vaccines and try and minimize the chance of getting something.

I dont think its nearly 98% unless its you put them in a processor, and even then i would say thats high. Im sure its pretty high, but not that high, if i had to guess id say at most 75%. I know when i break them up with my hands, the dogs will have small pieces of shell in their poo, so i know they...

i switch every time we run out, or almost run out. Usually i simply rotate NV products, but sometimes (lately) ive been buying completely different brands. Personally, i feel its better to rotate, as some foods have things others dont and to get a balanced diet i think its essential.

Yes, but i doubt this would convince the shelter to give her the deposit back, she is going to need something a little more concrete then that i believe.

If you feed pork, freeze it for 3 weeks. And yes, it will be fine, just make sure you watch your dog while they are chewing on anything.

Dang, looks like TW raised their prices again! I wouldnt pay 55 bucks for it, NV is just as good and is now 15 bucks cheaper.

Buy directly from TW, they have free shipping and i think a 30 lb bags runs about 42 bucks or so. Its nice because it comes straight to your door.

1.5 cups isnt nearly enough IMHO. My pup is getting over 3 cups a day, and my 2 year old is getting 2 - 2 1/2 a day. While having an overweight pup is certainly bad, so is having an incredibly skinny dog. Post pics when you can.

(I feed Natures Variety, which is definantly comparable to TW.)

First off, welcome to the site!! Second, that food is one of the worst. If you can buy it at walmart, then its crap. I would suggest reading the top five foods sticky at the top of the page, great foods in there. Timberwolf Organics and Natures Variety are probably the best kibbles on the market, bu...
