Tighten up her skin? Don't know that there is really anything that will do that. Depending on the age of the dog it may just be a growth issue. As far as clearing it up, Damien is right, need a few more details as far as what is going on. If it's dry and flakey, oil is the key. What food are you fee...

When we travel with the horses and have too many people for the dogs to go in the back seat of the truck, they ride in the tack room of the trailer. We fill a water bucket half full and use a short(black) rubber cargo tie down and that keeps it from spilling. Since it's a tight fit around the bucket...

Our first boxer was monorchid and I believe it cost us around $90 at the time. This was back in 1987 soooo. He had knee surger at the same time and the whole bill came to about $200, alot of money back then. Hope all goes well.

I was warned by my vet not to take Sasha on more than 1 short trail ride a week when she was a pup. He told me to wait till she was at least 1 before she went on long ones and 18 months for the marathon 5-6 hour rides. If she wasn't afraid of water she could have done all the swimming she could stan...

Round worms they are usually born with and come from mom. After worming them for that it usually isn't ever a problem again. Tape worms come from eating fleas, not all fleas have them but all it takes is eating the right one. Other worms come from smelling infected feces or, rarely, hookworms, from ...

I guess I don't trust the company much either. We used to carry the food but quite after they changed their formulas 4 times in a year. They kept adding "new and improved" formulas with new names but no changes, maybe one ingredient. We would get tired of it and so did the customers. It's hard to ma...

Another thing to consider is fleas. They tend to chew their butts raw and inside their back legs. You may never see a flea on them but if there is an allergy all it takes is one bite and they are off and running. They have been really bad so far this year, my poor pug has had several bouts with bite...

Hey Dee, Thanks for the update. I have found depending on the allergy it takes as little as 3 weeks to see a change with food. Sometimes it's a matter of a week. If salmon oil doesn't agree with him try flax seed oil. It should be refrigerated, it spoils very quickly and can/will cause more digestiv...

I guess I'm the odd man out here. I'm not a fan of Royal Canin. My main objection to the company is that they use corn, grain fractions, beet pulp, brewing by-products, rice hulls, Zeolite(a component of cat litter), and they supplement more than some other foods. If it's the best available in your ...

JMO but I wouldn't do pig bones. I don't trust the "cleanliness" of pork meat to feed the bones or any other part. The only "hard, fast" rule I have with feeding raw, NO pork.

My girl doesn't have gas now. I switched her food and it disappeared. My boxers had horrid gas that would clear a room in seconds till I switched them as well. They would very occasionally let one rip but it was no where near as noxious. My pug is another story. He will invariably get into something...

Those are easy chews for my kids. I tend to get the cut ones, so they are halved and jaws can't get stuck in the bone. They last a day or so, my pug will have one chewed in a couple of hours, he's real hard core.
