Wow, that head muff is sexy!! I bought liquid bandaid today and some campho-phenique hoping that it will numb the irritation that leads him to scratch it. If not, I may try benzocaine (for tooth aches). Jade has a red spot in the same place on one of here ears too, but it doesn't bother her at tall....

Sore in fold of ear?

Hi everyone!! I seldom post anything but press and laws, but I have a question. Dozer has this sore in his ear right where it folds and b/c of its location it isn't healing. He has had it for over a year and at least three vets have seen it without recommending anything (we weren't there for the ear...

Don't worry, you will get used to GA and even grow to like it. I moved here almost 5 years ago and cried when I learned I was leaving. The people, the food, the trees, and even the weather got to me after all this time and I must say I hate hot weather--Only have been to the beach twice in my life a...

I am on a second opinion now. My other vet threw her hands up and said he was a mystery. I brought him back to my old vet and at least she is determined to find an answer, but within 3 months I will need a vet in Michigan and I need a good one if anyone knows of one. He will end up getting a 3rd opi...

Dozer has been on metranidazole for about 40+ days now and will be tapering off slowly for the next few weeks. He has been on low res. food for at least 3 weeks now. his stools are less firm, but no blood. the last time we saw blood was BEFORE we even started the medication so I don't think it went ...

Dozer's story is long and complicated so it isn't an isolated event. We are using the food and metronidazole to see how it works. If it doesn't he is probably having an array of tests done. I don't like spending that much money for that food, but I am doing it to rule stuff out. Or we may end up put...
